Highly recommended by our tour guide who said that this is his familyâs favorite restaurant. Loved the outdoor seating and the well laid out menu (although wish it included Items in English). The food and wine were excellent, the prices very reasonable and the staff very nice.
This wonderful owner stayed open to feed 3 starving ladies. Even though his English was limited and our German nil, we managed to have a couple of great pizzas and a few laughs!

Went here on the first day we arrived in Koblenz. Our waitress asked whether we would like to share our starter and thus served it on two seperate plates, which was perfect! We both had a half/half pizza, perfect for people who cannot choose and want to try two seperate things. We had a great evening, defenitily recommended!

Susan, the congenial Liverpudlian owner, has welcomed my family members and me here for years. Don't hesitate to use your English without fear of being culturally insensitive! This visit I was the first customer to try her a selection from her new fettuccine menu: The shrimp pasta with Hollandaise sauce was stunningly wonderful! I've also had various types of pizza here. They are all good, and large. The atmosphere is warm, charming and congenial, which pretty much sums up Susan and her staff as well. Great food, a new outdoor dining patio, and wonderful staff make this restaurant well worth a trip on the 6/16 bus to Moselweise.

I have been to this location at least 5 times because my partner likes its convenience to the Globus and others stores in Lahnstein. The last visit was in late May 2015. In the past, I have sat both inside and in the winter-garden. And I have also eaten both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The location is OK. The Restaurant and Pizzeria is located in the middle of the block on AdolfstraÃe in Lahnstein. The location is convenient for those in Lahnstein or for those shopping at or near the Globus in Lahnstein. On almost every visit, we were friendly greeted by the owner or waiter/waitress, as we arrived. However, on one occasion as we arrived, we asked if we could sit in the winter-garden and the waitress disappeared for a while without saying a word. She just left us standing there at the entrance. Then finally, she came back and escorted us to a table in the winter-garden.The restaurant is decorated with a somewhat Italian motif. The tables are nicely decorated with a table cloth, a candle, and cloth napkins (which I prefer over cloth). In the winter to keep the cold air out, they have a curtain that hangs inside the doorway. Both inside seating and seating in the winter-garden is tight. When the tables are full with people, both inside and in winter-garden there isnât much space between tables. In fact, when the tables are full with people, it is chair back against chair back. It would NOT be a place for a group special occasion. The Menu is easy to read and understand. Plus, salads, soups, and vegetarian meals are also available. The food is sometime OK and other times not. Prices are above average, fair and the portions are appropriate. On my last visit, I had the Schnitzel with salad and fries. Substitutions of another type of potato or rice for the fries, is possible. While the food came hot and together, as it should be, my schnitzel on my last visit was dry and hard. So, unfortunately I can NOT recommend the Schnitzel. However, I can recommend the Tomato Soup, Salami Pizza, Spaghetti, and Tortellini, which I have had in the past. Despite the food not always having the best taste, the place is always busy. Noise level can be quite loud both inside and outside, since there is little material in the floor, wall or ceiling to absorb the sounds.During one visit there were small gnats flying around our table in the winter-garden. We mentioned it to the owner and at the time he did little to correct the problem. However, on subsequent visits the gnats were gone.As a mentioned, one can either sit inside or in the winter-garden. In the winter-garden the area is covered by a retractable roof. Because it does get warm sometimes in the winter-garden, one can request that it be retracted. Some parts of the restaurant need renovation, repair, or replaced. The outside winter-garden ceiling blinds were bent and look broken. The winter-garden ceiling glass/plexiglas looks dirty. Unfortunately, the optical view of these items has an influence on the atmosphere, the taste of ones meal, and therefore they detract from ones overall eating experience. We are always friendly wished a pleasant day, as we pay the bill and are offered a Grappa before leaving the restaurant. This Restaurant and Pizzeria has its own Internet page, which is very well organized and informative with an On-line Menu. However the internet page is only in German. There is no parking lot, so one has to go hunting for a parking spot on the street or down the street. Depending on where one parks, one may have to pay to park, if they want to pay again to have the privilege to eat at this restaurant. Based on taste, price, service, and atmosphere, overall this restaurant receives my low recommendation.

We knew we were in the right place when we stepped into the front door. Ahhhh, smell the garlic. The dinner salad was lovely and fresh. My hubby had the lasagna and it was bubbling and hot right out of the oven. I had the tortellini and it was yummy (sauce was a bit too thin) and quite a large serving. A great little place and very good food.

With so many good Italian restaurant s in a small town, it can hard to differentiate between good and great! This is an authentic atmospheric Italian, which serves great food with a smile and with value for money appeal. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Good things:Portions are fairly big.Prices are reasonableFood quality/taste is averageGood location and outdoor servingBad things:The service is bad. We waited for more than 45 min. for our starter and the place wasnât full at all. Furthermore, guests arriving at the same time or after us got their food before we did. When we asked politely (even in German) if they had forgotten our order, the waitress acted offended and even arrogant. With an irritated attitude she told us that the food was being prepared. Not a single polite comment throughout the whole meal to make up for it or excuse the waiting time. We even saw the waitress speaking badly about us to a colleague and pointing fingers. Even the guests next to us which were local people told us that this was really bad service and offered some bread while we were waiting. Itâs a shame that bad service can ruin the experience of a decent meal. Wouldât go there again for sure
