Reviews on Italian food in Winchester, Virginia, United States. Sitting at the northernmost corner of Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester offers visitors the chance to explore historical sites, museums, vineyards, farmers' markets, and tree-lined Old Town streets once wandered by the likes of George Washington and Stonewall Jackson. The fruitful fields of the surrounding Frederick County have earned the area the title "apple capital of the world," with the city hosting the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival annually for almost a century.

If you go, do not get the lasgna. Barely any meat and thick slabs of lasagna pasta that seem designed to just take plate space. No flavor either. Dont expect interaction with the wait staff either: the one we had was lifeless and seemed unhappy to have her job

In town visiting family and stopped here for dinner. Loved the garlic knots they give you while your waiting for your food. We ordered manicotti, linguine and a side order of meatballs. Everything was delicious and had enough let for lunch the next day. We will eat there again.

Serves authentic Southern Italian cuisine - It's excellent and I want to write a glowingly positive review!
Our second visit seemed even more delicious, starting with oil/garlic (not fried) calamari. So fresh and flavorful. Tried the Alfredo carbonara (bacon) with such delicate, perfect pasta and the one of the specials, spinach/cheese ravioli in tomato sauce. Unbelievable flavor combinations, fresh salads and hot, crunchy breadsticks. Highly recommend this restaurant when in Winchester, VA area.

This chain used to be my favorite. Huge plates of pasta and stellar service. Both have disappeared. The service is okay but the amount of food you get is half what it used to be. We always took food home and the last few times we left hungry and we don't eat as much as we used to. We'll give them another shot only because I really good Italian food, but don't let me leave hungry.

We have not been to a Carrabba's in years, and we were surprised by some of the changes. First, the vegetarian selection has changed (i.e., decreased) quite a bit. They no longer serve eggplant parmesan, which is always a good vegetarian option. Second, the prices are a bit steep. We ordered an individual pizza and two appetizers, and it cost more than $50 for lunch. The food was okay but not at that price.

Nice little place close to our hotel. Loved the seating which made you feel like you were outside. Really enjoyed our meatball and eggplant parmigiana subs. Just the right amount of cheese on them and the bread was very fresh and toasted well. Along with a nice glass of wine and a beer and we were happy with this quick dinner while we were traveling.

fresh salads, panini , pasta , mediterranean and daily specials in a upscale casual environment. We take pride in the service and quickness of the food you order.
Went in for lunch and was greeted right away sat in a comfy Booth the restaurant was extremely clean the table was very clean fantastic menu options well-priced the server Josh was great fresh-brewed iced tea homemade potato chips and a steak and cheese that was five stars absolutely perfect food and service the gripe I have is that they have a very strong orange-scented bathroom freshener and it's so powerful it seeps out into the back of the restaurant so instead of smelling hot food you smell bathroom air freshener this is an easy fix and I hope they take a consideration to it I will definitely be back I'll just sit in a different place so glad I found this place

Stopped in with friends for an early dinner . A burger, 2x salmon salads, and a daily special ⦠sliced flank steak with a "brown" sauce over a bed of risotto with a cup of avgolemeno soup. Draft beers all around. Great selection of draft beers ! Local micros (including the "upstairs" brewery). Quick meal, tasty, and the beer was great !

We are a small fine dining restaurant specializing in traditional and authentic Italian cuisine. All of our items are made from scratch on premises from the bread to the gelato. The interior decor is old world and eclectic with a strong opera and classica
Everything was perfect here. The service was impeccable. Food delicious, we ordered the radicchio salad and loved it, lasagna, veal Paganini..... all was superb. Nice classical music from the young man who played the violin... just all around lovely dinner.... thank you!

Our favorite Friday night family dinner. It is honestly the best kept secret in Winchester. The food is homemade and always awesome and the sweet server always remembers what my youngest daughter eats. We love Neighborhood Italian Kitchen and highly recommend.
