I love to try different pizza places. I have been to a few different ones in Whittier, but hadn't tried Tony's yet. It looked like it had some good reviews on the internet. (Should have checked TA first). The Pizza was tasty, but it was pretty greasy and just your average pizza. I personally didn't think it was much better than your $5 Pizza place. So nothing wrong as far as anything else, but if you want a real good pizza with lots of love put into it, I don't think this is the place. If you just want tasty, I'll give them that.

Family owned and operated since 1975 Benvenuti (Welcome)! The year was 1975 when proud owners of a little pizzeria & restaurant opened their doors to the public in the city of Montebello. Salvatore De Lorenzo and his wife Angela brought with them from Cal
Love the family atmosphere. Everything was completely acceptable. Service was appropriately attentive. Professional. Wine - good, bread - good, salad - good, Veal Marsala - good enough but could have been a bit more. More veal, just a bit more Marsala in sauce but no complaints. Quick service, clean and friendly. Would I go back? Yes.

On Sundays, most of the delis are closed, and I wasn't about to go to a commercial place for a sandwich. Lascari's was about 5 miles from my home, and so we decided to give it a try.The first thing I noticed when we walked in was it was bigger in size than I thought. Ample seating and spread out. There's a sign floating on the ceiling that says "Order Here". On the wall is a menu, but if you take the paper "to go" menu, there's a better description of the food inside. I ordered a small "Submarine" while Stephen ordered a small "Sausage". The lady commented to Stephen that his sandwich came with pasta salad, but I didn't realize she meant mine as well. I opted to add chips and a soda, thinking my sandwich was a la carte for $6. I was pleasantly suprised to see we both got a good scoop of pasta salad with decent sized sandwiches. I almost didn't want to open my chips because the portions was just enough for my appetite.

From the time we entered the staff was very genuine and service oriented....not seen that often anymore. Prices are very high but portions are on the large size.

Ravello Bar & Grill draws its inspiration from the trattorias found along the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Ravello's spacious dining room, Italian granite-topped full bar, glass enclosed patio and private dining rooms have been designed to present a warm, evoca
Last time, we stopped in for happy hours, had great starters and excellent drinks. This time we had a full dinner. This restaurant is white linen with excellent servers, an open light ambiance and reasonable prices compared to the quality of food and service. Once again, our drinks were excellent, and the wine by the glass and/or bottle extensive. I had the Italian Rib Eye Steak with the melted marrow butter soaked into it. With qualification, the best Italian style steak I have ever eaten anywhere. My wife had the fresh swordfish, which she said was moist and full of flavor. In addition, on the weekend, the was live music at the piano to increase the feeling of being in a special place. I highly recommend.
My family and I have been coming here for years and just love the same great taste even after the fire/renovations when it was closed! Good to be open again. Good pizza that's not too greasy and the workers are nice!
The Mission Square Restaurant & Lounge is a hidden gem located on Penn Street, between Bright Ave. and Greenleaf. Look for us under the black awnings, in the historic Mission Square building.
Start with the Calamari...deep fried to perfection....SCALOPINNE ALLA PORTOBELLO has a wonderful madeira sauce over well prepared veal that makes the dish exceptional.Wine list is very good, but not exceptional...we were never rushed, nor did we feel rushed, as we spent 2 1/2 hours over our dinner...

this is a place where you place your order then they deliver it to your table excellent buffalo chips (pizza pieces) with pasta sauce and ranch. The chicken pesto pizza is thick with lots of cheese. Salads can be shared. Staff is very helpful.
