We stopped by for dinner 1 day. It is really nice inside. Really clean and a Great atmosphere. We just had the pizza and I had the Mussels. The food was outstanding and service was fantastic. I put it in the top 10 restaurants in Irwin area.

probably been 10 years since my wife & I have been to Rene's...hardly anyone in the place when we went ...first things first...we ordered fried zucchini...primo...I ordered a Reuben & my wife ordered a crab cake sandwich...both very good...service was excellent...moderately priced menu...it won't take us so long to go back.

We were able to make reservations, which was nice. The place was packed on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately, had our soup and salads within minutes of ordering. Unfortunately, we waited an hour and a half for our entrees. If you are in a hurry, don't go on a Saturday. The food was very good, as well as the server. However, the entertainment (a solo singer with a guitar) was loud, and was good for a bar scene, and not so much a restaurant setting. We were unable to carry on a conversation while the performance was under way.If you want great Italian food in a comfortable setting, avoid Saturdays...

I order from Jo-Lynn's at least once a week. The pizza is delicious, and the meatball calzone is my favorite, with the Italian hoagie right behind. Everything is delicious-- from the fried mushrooms to the gnocchi dinner, and everything in between. Friendly staff too.

I was having a beer with my wife and another friend next door at Fury Brewing (great beer!). Fury will take your food order and Inferno carries it over to your table. I got the hot sausage hoagie with sauce, grilled onions and jalapenos. Honestly when I bit into it I actually said "Holy Crap it's good!" My wife got the steak hoagie and loved it. My buddy got the wings (they are huge) and they were great. My only complaint is that this place is 1.5 hours from my house. If it was closer, I would be there constantly.
I my opinion this is what pizza should taste like. I have not tried any other menu items, but I am sure they are great. The staff is always pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the service is spot on. Much better than the other Italian restaurant in white oak. Seating is pizzeria style not formal and you can watch them spinning the dough.

Specialing in fresh pasta
Odd location, and difficult parking. The food is good, not great. The menu is limited so review it before you head there. Get reservations - it gets crowded. This place is very loud so don't plan on an intimate dinner conversation.Overall, a nice place for Irwin Pa.

Tillie's is a Family Owned independent Italian Style Restaurant that has been serving Homemade Italian and American foods for over 55 Years. Pasta is Hand Made in house and is the Signature Food for most patrons. Our Homemade Spaghetti, Fettucini, Lasaga,
Place has been around since 1962. Nothing special on the inside, tables, booth and Sinatra playing, but the food is very good. Love the fish, pizza and all of the pastas. They are known for their ravioli, singular. For lunch you get one large ravioli, it is plenty, for dinner they serve you two. They huge and very satisfying stuffed with cheese or my personal favorite, Italian sausage. Worth a visit.

Woodyâs is a long-established, traditional, unpretentious, Italian-American red sauce restaurant that is a local favorite. I can see why. Their homemade spaghetti with meatball is exactly to my taste. My carnivore companion was satisfied, too. Portions are large and service is friendly. Whatâs not to like?McKeesport has a deserved reputation for high crime and derelict buildings. Don't be afraid to come here. Woody's is not in a "no go" zone.

Luciano's is one of my husband and I's favorite restaurants. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere. I love their white pizza, and Italian calzone. My husband's favorite is the meatball calzone, and steak hoagie. Definitely give them a try!
