Great quality Italian deli food- this is a hidden gem in Denville center, and it is NYC quality. Has a few comfortable tables by the entrance and the deli behind it. Great soups and sandwiches, and good for taking out cheeses, meats and prepared food. Caution: it gets very crowded on Saturdays so if you are in a rush, leave it if there's a crowd.

Our whole table enjoyed their food. My veal was tender. I did add some salt to give more flavor. The veal parm looked amazing and was a large portion. All the pasta dishes also looked wonderful. My briother in law said he thinks their espresso is the best anywhere. I loved my cappuccino. The biscotti was a nice touch.

We had read some good reviews on Parsippany's Best Pizza, so decided to check them out. We ordered Pizza Fries, Salad, and a Pizza. We waited in their seating area, which was a bit tight, but it was no biggie since it wasn't crowded. All of the food we received was good, especially the Pizza Fries. They top their Pizza Fries with Pepperoni, which I had never seen before. They were delicious. It gave me a few ideas that I will try at home sometime. The people working there were also nice, so it turned out to be a positive experience.Hey Hockpooh, We are so happy and delighted you enjoyed our food especially our pizza fries! :) Thank you for giving us a chance and we hope to see you again soon!

I ordered from Johnny's via Seamless as I work in Florham Park. The estimated delivery time was between 11:55 & 12:05. At 12:03 the delivery person called to say he was running a few minutes late and gave me a new ETA, which he kept to. I indicated in Seamless that I would tip in cash. Our receptionist dropped off my lunch and said the delivery person dropped it off and left. I called him to explain and asked if he would come back. He was very cool about it and even said 'it's my pleasure to serve you'. I was very impressed. I ordered for myself and a coworker. I got the Dr Joe's salad. It was made just the way I like. Not dripping in dressing, just a bit of balsamic vinegar. It allowed me to enjoy the arugula , roasted peppers, chicken and fresh mozzarella. My co worker had the Mona Lisa sandwich. We asked on the order to switch from garlic to French bread and the accommodation was made. She said it was one of the best sandwiches she ever had. We will be ordering from there again!

Stopped here for a quick lunch with a friend. We both had the breaded eggplant with mozzarella and roasted red peppers with balsamic vinegar. We asked for it on a panini instead of a wrap. It also came with a small salad. It was very good. Iâve had their calzone to go in the past. That was very good also. The pizza looked good too.

Since we were the only people in the restaurant, I would have thought that the waiter would accommodate a simple request. When my friends asked for her dressing on the side, he rudely said No! and he wasn't kidding. Also, the entrees came out in 2 shifts about 15 minutes apart which is not okay, and it was nothing special.

Decent good pizza and pasta dishes. Nice of them to give you bread and butter while waiting for your meal. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Had the mussels with white wine sauce (dip that hot bread in this sauce!). Couldn't finish the wrap in one sitting (saved it for tomorrow's lunch). Menu has good choices. Nice clean mom & pop neighborhood restaurant to unwind with some wine and Italian food.

Do you like inattentive staff as much as I do? How about a $10 slice of cake? That said, I really did enjoy the Pappardelle con Salsiccia. The Fettuccine was not limp, the sausage was wonderful and I have not met a mushroom that I did not like. It was priced at $19.95 so it gave me no license to complain. Come to think of it, all the entree prices seemed to fall between $20-$26 dollars. It's just so wonderfully mathematically elegant. The restaurant has less than 100 seats. Viewing it from the outside I would have expected more. Part of the problem with seating is that the rather large bar area has a lot of empty area behind the bar. This must be a real treat for the bartenders. I bet they get their 10,000 steps a day. The ambiance features earth tones but not Tuscany earth tones. Wooden chairs, recessed lighting and white table cloths had my head going back and forth. Caesar's Palace- Pizza Parlor. Caesar's Palace-Pizza Parlor. Either way this place gets crowded. I hope that you do not enjoy conversation that much while you are dining. Speaking of crowded, it starts in the strip mall parking lot. Sometimes you just want some good Italian food and this restaurant is a solid choice.

We are a small 48 seat BYOB restaurant. Chef/Owner Matthew Pierone has been named to Best chefs America (BCA) list since 2013. He specializes in fresh, creative Italian cuisine and is known for his Pork chops, fish and bread pudding. Outstanding customer
We just had our lunch at Gourmet Cafe Restaurant in Parsippany. We had the soup and sandwich combo. All the four of us loved our food and we highly recommend the restaurant. Great service and food!! But make sure you reserve - it is pretty popular (not surprising!)Ram, I am so glad you gave us a try, and even happier that you had a good experience! Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We hope to see you again when you are in the area.

Fine dining at it's best. Beautiful, elegant "old fashioned" European ambience and impeccable service. Our family, six adults and four children were celebrating the family patriarch's birthday. We started with champagne toast for adults, milk for kids:) The appetizers were various choices of salads, mixed greens, Burrata, mine was a tasty roasted Golden Beet salad. The entrees were all classic Italian pasta dishes, and my son enjoyed the Short Ribs with Risotto .A stand out entree was the Lobster Spaghettini - with half lobster tail - that several of us ordered. Very tasty and spicy. They made a mild version for the 12 year old. My husband's Pappardelle ai Porcini that he orders any chance he gets when we travel in Italy, was delicious. There were meatballs that the kids loved. The desserts were great as well, I loved the Poached Pear and their Hazelnut ice cream. We opted for an early reservation as we had young kids with us. They are old enough to behave and to enjoy the festive ambience, the elegant surroundings, the beautifully set up table, the chance to dress up. Our server Niko, was wonderfully attentive and took great care of our whole party. My son praised the restaurant's impressive wine list and we enjoyed his selection. All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan to come back soon !
