A lovely meal followed by vocal perfection from Joe McElderry who was outstanding and sang his heart out! This is the second time seeing Joe here and it was excellent that we had the chance for a meet and greet option with our tickets. It made for such a special day & I'm first in line for tickets for another lunch with Joe here (please?!!).

I can't tell you just how much we enjoyed our meal at the Southbank restaurant recently. It was our first visit to Boston Spa, Yorkshire, and we found this place by chance. Everything here is just fabulous!The setting and the atmosphere go a long way to describing just how hard Darren and his staff have worked, to create a great dining experience. The place was 'rocking!'My wife Jackie is a pescatarian, and her meal was so very tasty, (so she told me!)As a 'dyed in the wool' carnivore, I followed the menu's advice, and chose the very reasonably priced 'Bedrock' steak. I had not come across this cut of meat before, apparently there are only two per animal. It was, without doubt, one of THE most juicy, tender and flavourful steaks I have ever eaten. So much so, on our way out, I made my way to the kitchen, in order to thank Darren personally. The service, by the way, was delivered by staff who were cheerful, informative and very professional.If you are anywhere within striking distance of Boston Spa, Yorkshire, are are looking for an amazing meal in an amazing restaurant, then look no further than Southbank............you will not be disappointed?

We visited for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant had been recommended to us.When we arrived the restaurant was empty. Not an issue for us. Greeted warmly and asked where weâd like to sit.Simple, clean decor and furniture.The restaurant got busier over the course of our visit and it was obvious that diners were well known to the staff.Nice menu, similar to what youâd expect in a good Italian restaurant, and some interesting specials, including a sea bass starter that was excellent.Waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Service was really nice. Polite, friendly and not rushed.Food was really good, well presented and beautifully cooked.It was our first visit, but wonât be our last. A really enjoyable visit.

Came across this whilst walking around the town looking for something to eat, and was not disappointed in any way. Lovely location, fabulous staff and customer service, and the food was just lovely. Is the type of cafe/restaurant I would become a regular.Highly recommended.

After having being at other Ask restaurants and having a great meal we were extremely disappointed in the wetherby branch. It started by going to the WC and after reporting to a member of staff it turned out they had no toilet paper in the whole building. The drinks took a very long time to arrive. We waited over 40 minutes in between courses. One meal turned up four minutes before the other, we had finished the main before the sides turned up. Absolutely dreadful and would not recommend.
