For a Birthday celebration we visited La Bistecca, it was a meal to remember and a made for wonderful memories!I ordered the Antipasto Assorito, $12.00( a plate of assorted meats and cheese with olives and lettuce sprinkled with balsamic), it was very good, and I used it as my meal.My husband ordered the 6 oz. filet ($39.00) ( cooked to perfection) which came with a small salad, green beans and potatoes. For dessert the New York cheesecake was delicious. We ordered two drinks and total price before tip was $75.00. The meal was delicious, wait staff Attentive and the restaurant decor gorgeous!Itâs like a visit to Italy .Thank you for the great review, we're thrilled you had a great birthday celebration at La Bistecca. An older establishment in Westland, has been serving awesome pizza for years!Hadn't been there in 10 years, stopped in and was amazed! Same interior as before, booths, long tables and large televisions. We thought about leaving but the waitress was so genuinely nice we stayed.Spaghetti and meatballs, mostaccioli and meatballs were incredible! They were served with a salad and warm bread. The best part was the service. The waitresses worked together. The restaurant was extremely busy with large parties and each waitress had 5 or more tables, each serving both tables of 2 to 12!Food was delivered hot, promptly and with a smile! We will return much sooner, what a great establishment!

Loaf and a Pound Italian Deli is locally owned and features authentic Italian ingredients. It has a counter where you place your order and a small seating area with 5-6 tables available. Select from a choice of 15 or so classic Italian-style sandwiches, all available with your choice of homemade Italian hoagie buns (crispy Italian, soft Italian or wheat). Different homemade soup each day as well. Everything made to order, the way you want it, using premium quality, freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses. My favorite isn't even on the regular menu -- Hot Italian Beef with provolone and au jus. Large portions and a special deal to add a drink and bag of chips. I didn't even mention the dessert case with cannolis! The next time you're headed to one of the chain sub or sandwich shops give this place a try -- you won't regret it!

I hadn't been there in years. My Mom wanted to go to a sit down pizza place so we went here. It was dark and the place could use a deep cleaning. The pizza was OK. The soft bread sticks were good and the waitress was nice. I just remember this place being better.

Charming atmosphere. Great service from Lisa. Check their online coupons. And yes their Detroit style pizza is worth the trip. Eight slices is more the enough for 3-4. Especially if you get a salad. Excellent prices on beer. Give it a try for something different and fun Maria, it is fantastic to hear that our pizza is worth the trip! Thank you for sharing your kind remarks and we're pleased to know you're a Buddy's Pizza fan. We look forward to serving you the next time you're in town.

My wife and I always took her Aunt here when we came to visit her from Chicago. Sadly she passed in November at age 101. We came to visit her grave, old home in Redford where I loved sleeping in the enclosed from porch and see Detroit. DeLucaâs is the best Italian food Iâve had. Itâs not fancy, but what Iâve had at many an Italian home. DeLucaâs hasnât changed inside since weâve been visiting here the last 25 years. That is a good thing. I had mostaccioli Parmesan with meatballs & sausage and my wife had her meat ravioli. We shared a carafe of wine and made a toast to her late Aunt Annabelle who introduced us to the best Italian food in Detroit.
