When you visit Joe's Pizza and Pasta in Sulphur, be sure to try the lasagna. There is no skimping on cheese...I promise! You may have to loosen your belt since Joe's servings are liberal. And don't forget the rolls. Amazing! Gotta go. I'm making myself hungry.

Got seated, server was ok but not the best. Main problem was all then other servers and hostesses with all their internal drama. Talking bad about other employees where everybody could hear. They also seemed rushed and wanted people to leave. Just not the best experience at this one.

Met friends to try The Villa. The restaurant is in an old building that's tastefully decorated. The hosted greeted us as we entered. We sat near the bar. Good atmosphere and good service. Had the chicken parm and a side salad. Greens were fresh and dressing was good. My entree had a good flavor but it was a small portion. For the price, all 4 in our party felt that our entree portions were rather small.

Havenât been here in a long time but decided to take mom for lunch. Seated immediately and waitress Madeline took care of us within a minute. She was a delight and very helpful. We got the House bread and Chardonnay to start. Both were delicious. Bread was light and tasty with cheese on top. We got the corn and shrimp bisque and Spinach salad. Bisque had a kick and great taste. Salad had candied pecans, strawberries, boiled egg and bacon. Madeline was there when we needed her and incredibly friendly. Next time I wonât wait so long.

This buffet is pretty consistent, as well as pricey. It is usually good, with many choices, that donât change much. For whatever reason, most of the workers behind the buffet are just plain rude and unfriendly, we have been visiting here for years and itâs always like that. Iâm big on customer service and am always nice to them, but most of the time it isnât reciprocated. There of course are a few who are nice. The wait staff are always nice and attentive. The dinner buffet is truly not worth the price. Even though they have seafood on the dinner buffet, they donât include the crab legs in the 34.00 price any longer, but you can add like a pound for an additional 12.99 or so! Funny all of the other buffets can afford to include them in their lower priced dinners . So basically if I donât get my meal comped, I skip the dinner.

Ok, I am not Italian BUT this food is delicious regardless of my cultural food tradition. Our second time to eat here. On our first visit many months ago, we had their delicious wood fired pizza... crispy delicious crust and fresh, quality toppings. This recent second visit had us choosing the fixed price date night menu that was offered in addition to the regular menu. First course items we chose were the salad (just ok) and the lobster bisque (outstanding!) Second course - we ordered he salmon with spinach risotto was "the bomb". Risotto was perfectly prepared and the salmon seasoned but not over salted. The other entree was the lasagna with appeared to be handmade pasta and a fine ground meat filling... not your typical lasagna. Well balanced between the noodle, meat and sauce. Sauce was a bit on the sweeter side. Service was very good. We will be back sooner rather than later.
