Had a great meal here as a family of 5 on a Sunday evening having just arrived in Alnwick. Not much open or around so we were delighted to be recommended Di Sopra!Great choice of lovely food!Staff were helpful, attentive and friendly!

Great Italian food at this cosy little restaurant. Everything is freshly cooked from scratch and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and although they donât take bookings they will phone you to let you know when a table is free. Definitely recommend vegetarian spinach and ricotta cannelloni made with pancakes instead of pasta. Plenty of choice for non vegetarians too. Prices very reasonable for quality food Highly recommend Caffe Tirreno

This is served noon till 6pm during the week. We popped in one afternoon. What an incredible shame we were the only people in their the entire time!! As we'd been blown to bits and were freezing cold from our harbour walk, we both opted for the soup of the day to start, which surprisingly was chicken and sweetcorn! It was hearty, piping hot and delicious and came with bread and butter. I had ham and pineapple pizza for main. My mum ate vegetable lasagne. Fantastic!!!!Next we opted for ice cream. You get a choice of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry and a choice of strawberry or blueberry sauce. We both enjoyed a lovely Rosé wine. The lady serving us was brilliant! Why aren't more people in here? You should be!!!

We are a small restaurant in the sea-side village of Alnmouth. You can find us in the Hope & Anchor hotel which is on the villages main street. Booking are essential. All of our food is locally sourced (whenever possible) and is all homemade.
Went here our first night evening meal in Alnmouth while on a 5 day holiday and we liked it so much we re-booked for our last night. A good selection of well prepared dishes and nicely presented and very tasty. The "whale" fish and chips were well cooked and very large. The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick - too quick? But you cannot please everyone. My wife had a pasta dish which she very much enjoyed. Well done to the team.

Worth booking ahead- popped in on a Saturday as two couples and two dogs and was turned away.Popped back the following week (Thursday)and was rewarded with some beautiful Italian food. Great friendly staff too.The H&A has two large areas one of which is dog friendly. Would recommend.

Visited again over the Bank Holiday weekend and found the place to be just as good if not better as they had more waiting staff so things were delivered a bit quicker than the first time around. The food was just as good Goats cheese on bruchetta starter and Pollo della casa. The homemade Tiramisu was good but not the best that I have had.We will be back again.
