For a small place there is a surprisingly large amount of options besides pizza, but since that is done so well why would one bother?I had a gourmet delight white sauced, garlicy, mushrooms and carmelized oniony. The crackery crust even held its crisp overnight. Several craft beers and a well-priced wine selection, served by a seriously happy waitress underscored why it seemed to be date night for locals.Great place.

Bertucci's restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of its community. Like the original Bertucci's, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant exper
Sorry to blame the waitress for what may have been a management failure, but this visit was not good. It took forever to get our bread and salad - and then our entrees were served before we had gone to finish salads. We had to ask to get water refills, empty dishes werenât collected, and so on. Definitely not recommended for eating in. Maybe takeout would be better. DaveTUSC, we're sorry to hear about your dining experience on your recent visit. If you havenât already spoken with someone about your visit or this review, please email us at [email protected] with the Bertucci's location, your name, photo of the receipt, phone number and the details of your experience. I've been going to Domenics for over 15 years now and they still make the best Prosciutto Parma panini's! The bread is made on site so it's always fresh and delicious. The only downside is that the prices are just a little bit too high (for me personally) so I tend to make it more of a monthly treat. The quality of the food is worth every cent though! Maybe that's a good thing otherwise I'd be eating prosciutto panini's every day :)

Good calamari, ravioli was average at best with thick pasta and not much taste in the filling. The sauce was tasty but needed salt and was very very creamy. Iris for dessert was delicious but like the courses before, huge. Wine was tasty but the measure small. Atmosphere bustling. Would visit again.

We were 3 couples for a midweek dinner. We were immediately seated. As our waitress was taking our drink orders, another waitress bumped into her and dropped a pitcher of ice water between 2 people at our table. One personâs leg got a bit wet, ice cubes all over the floor. Some of the cubes got picked up, the others remained! I told everyone to be careful if they get up. One person in my party didnât want any marinated meat. After asking the waitress and her making 2 trips to the kitchen to ask, we finally got an answer. My husband ordered pasta with Bolognese sauce. He said it was good. I had stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were good but the baked potato was cold. My friendâs steak came out with a baked potato and oven roasted potatoes! No veggies. Our waitress was clearly inexperienced. The kitchen needs to watch what theyâre plating. The potatoes should have been hot. The table was never cleared off , although we ordered dessert and coffee. All simple things that are easy to fix on a slow night.

Our name derives from the Italian word meaning a restaurant serving wine and simple food, âosteria,â and the Italian phrase meaning to sit and relax, âposto.â This approach to heartfelt hospitality and thoughtful food characterizes our take on todayâs Ita
Special family dinner celebrating a birthday. Our first time at this restaurant and it won't be our last! Each of the entrees were outstanding: Tagliatelle; Seared Gnocchi; Scallops; Veal Marsala (special). The Fire and Ice cocktail was a hit with two of the diners. There is a children's menu, pasta with butter, pasta with red sauce, pasta with meatball. Chocolate cake for dessert was very light and delicious. Servers were attentive and vey helpful. Will definitely return.

Spouse and I ate here with son his wife and 2 grandchildren; 10 yo girl & 13 yo boy. It was mostly the grandson (13 you.) who wanted to come here. The place is relatively small, with limited low seating tables â most are bar-high chairs & tables. The tables and chairs are close to each other and when I wanted to use the restroom I had to squeeze between chairs/tables etc. It is the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in and at one point during dinner I had to put my fingers in my ears to avoid the constant, overwhelming and annoying noise! Also the food choice is quite limited â mostly pasta with lots of cheese with other things (clams, lobster pieces, meat, etc.) on it- but very carbohydrate rich with sauces. I personally avoided all that and had a bowl of mussels â which were fine. We avoided desert because we wanted to leave the place and the noise. So the point is â when we are visiting son & family I will veto eating her ever again. It is NOT the place to go if you want to have a conversation without yelling to those across the table. UGH!

Our family of four went to La Campania on a busy Thursday evening and although we had to wait almost half an hour after our scheduled reservation to be seated it was certainly worthwhile. The appetizers â roasted fig, carpaccio, prosciutto and beet insalata â were all enjoyed. The rack of lamb chosen by one of our party was rated âthe best in a very long timeâ while the half rabbit selected by another was âsimply outstandingâ. The duck and tagliolini entrees were also appreciated. The desserts â three chocolate souffles and a tiramisu were exquisite. All in all, a delightful experience.

This restaurant has been operating for many years and has managed to maintain a high quality of service, food, and wine. We had a pleasant dinner there recently with excellent friendly service and delicious appetizers. However, we all ordered the same entree special, soft shell crabs, and found them to be mushy and the sauce so heavy that the delicate crab flavor was obscured. Despite this minor imperfection, the meal was excellent overall and the wine list, nearly exclusively Italian, is outstanding.
