We were visiting from California and were looking for a local place off the beaten path for some good local pizza and Italian food. We some positive reviews on Ferazzoli's Italian Kitchen and that it was a local family owned business so we decided to give it a try. Glad that we did, the restaurant is owned by two brothers who also work the counter and wait on the customers, and they are very friendly and helpful. Even though we were from out of town, they made us feel like we were locals and welcomed us. The food was amazing and tasty, large 18" pizza that are cut into only 8 slices, so large portions, also the antipasti we delicious as well. The owner took time to talk to us, and even provide a free T-Shirt to one of boys in our party. They have a good menu selection, and the food tastes as if your grandmother made it. The seating in the restaurant is a bit small, as they do a large business on take out, but we had a party of six and were comfortable and enjoyed the experience. If you are in the area and want some very good food, and experience quality, then would suggest stopping in at Ferazzoli's, they are a bit off the beaten path, but worth the little extra drive for quality food.

I have been to The New Park Tavern three times now. The first was sort of a last minute decision as my regular watering hole had a power failure and the kitchen was closed. The last two tomes because I really like the food and atmosphere. A large round bar with 35-40 bar stools in the center with another 15 or so high top tables in the front area and a large low table seating are in the back room make for a larger place than I am used to. The menu is extensive, I have had the wings, a Calzone and the Genaro steak hoagie and they were all exceptionally good. The one concern on food was the buffalo chicken tenders, mushy with a ton of vinegar (READ CHEAP HEAT) and a small portion equals an unhappy experience. The next day, the wings were terrific, so fix the chicken tenders issue....Very personable staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Quick to offer suggestions and recommendations based on preferences, very helpful. My first couple of trips, I sat at the high tops and got a bill for food and beverages, when I sat at the bar, I had the bartender send a waitress over for the food order and received two bills. As this place has been around since the 1930's, I would think they could get this worked out...All in all, a very good experience with a few points that could be better, but a good enough experience and value that I keep going back.

Loved La Cambusa! On Sundays, they serve "Nonna's Sunday Dinner' which are platters of rigatoni pasta, meatballs, sausage, braciole and pork ribs (includes a house or Caesar salad also) for $22 per person. The "gravy" is outstanding, and the meats are absolutely, authentically delicious (we think the braciole had pignoli nuts and raisins in the filling). We shared a light, fluffy cannoli and some delicious tiramisu for dessert. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes!

Based on TA reviews, went to this restaurant and was not disappointed. Ordered from the pre fix menu which included appetizer, salad, entrée and coffee with dessert. All the apps were tasty as were the entrees. The salad was very sparse but still good. Service was first rate. Pay with cash and the price is $3 less per meal than if paid by credit card. The only drawback is the very limited off street parking. Parking on street is metered. Will return to this outstanding restaurant.

The food is excellent, hands down from what the group I was with said. I am Gluten Sensitive & at the time, this place was not accommodating so I had mussels and a salad Kindly sucks when you are with a group and they indulge & you have to split the bill. Ok - onto my review: The place is really SMALL & tables are too close together so if you like family style with people next to you - this is for you. THE NOISE FACTOR is nothing short of absolutely annoying. The night we were there the owner sang, great voice, however, with the place being packed and people talking it was truly a non-enjoyable night out. We could have done without his singing. Parking is on the street so prepare to walk on a Fri or Sat. There is a bakery connected to the restaurant which is really good. THE OWNER SHOULD INVEST IN SOME NOISE FILTERING products to put on the ceiling or walls to make this a more enjoyable dining experience. Also some GLUTEN FREE dishes would be encouraged since many people have this sensitivity especially when a person has a thyroid disease !!!

Good solid Italian food. Been going there for years. One of my favorites is sausage and pepper over ziti. Very family friendly and experienced and pleasant wait staff. Parking in front or across the street, but when it gets busy you may have to hunt for a parking spot. Highly recommended.Thank you for the great review! We are still a family run business for over 80 years!

The place for Italian tapas small plates, hand tossed pizza and world class wines.
First time. We walk in the bar side and was very impressed. Nice atmosphere. The bar was full so we were going to wait until someone left. A really nice girl server named Rebecca served us the bottle of wine while we waited. We paid the tab. We got seats at the bar. We were told it was tapas. So we ordered truffle ravioli- tuna bruschetta-crispy octopus. Attach is a picture. Tapas I understand is small but couldnât you give two pieces of bruschetta not one? 3 raviolis but for $14.50? The taste and presentation was delicious. We ran out of time so instead of ordering more we got our tab. The tab was $52.78!! Realized they added 2 drinks onto the tab that we didnât drink. We called the girl bartender over and said it wasnât our tab and she started to argue with us! Told us that the other bartender said it was ours. Didnât appreciate the attitude from the start making us have to prove it the mistake. The guy bartender wouldnât come over to confront. It took time for the girl bartender finally to come back. Instead of voiding or taking the drinks off they deducted the drinks separately. Now we have to watch our charge card to make sure the deduction takes place! Needless to say, if thatâs how a restaurant does business, we will NOT be back. Donât need bartenders argue about drinks that wasnât ours making a perfectly beginning of the evening turn negative. Too many other restaurants that appreciate customers.Hi Debbie, we're very sorry to hear about your experience and would like to sincerely apologize for the confusion with the check as that is certainly not how we do business. If you wouldn't mind privately sending us your phone number, our general manager would love to reach out to you personally. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again and make it up to you.

I met some friends for a casual dinner. Paisaon's is a typical Italian restaurant with your basic pastas, veal, chicken, etc.... The quality of the food is good, but not fine. According to my friends, the sauces were heavy. Calamari and Burrata were good as appetizers, and overall its ok if you go without a lot of expectations. They did not have a lot of options for me, since I am Gluten free. I had a simple grilled fish which was blah. Service was excellent and they were really trying to make us feel at home and make sure we were having a good time.I hope they improve the quality of the food because it's a nice restaurant with a good location.

Experience the best casual Italian dining with family and friends at Vesta Wood Fired which offers creative and unique flavors achieved through cooking on a charbroiler and hearth.
Stopped by on a Sunday night. They were close to our hotel and highly rated on here. The ambiance is nice, but the music can be a little loud. The pizza was good and the crust was very good. Solid choice close to Metlife stadium!!

I requested a reservation online for a large family meal after an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Our family was flying in from all over the country. I was very impressed that the owner called me right away and confirmed the reservation after offering his condolences several times. Matthew explained that there would be another larger group plus open tables which was of no concern to us but it was nice that he fully explained the size of the restaurant. The younger adults and children established their own territory at the table leaving the elder statesmen to speak freely. The staff was polite, polished and very attentive without ever being intrusive. Most of the adults ordered seafood and the respective meals were fresh and extremely well prepared. My mom always loved restaurants like this and she would have been very pleased that we were all fortunate enough to find Matthews and share quality time together as a family....thank you Matthew.
