Old winery in a historic home at the end of 700, on the slopes of Etna, green areas, banquet hall, parking. Closed Wednesday
Quiet, nice, rather unique location with very decent food for affordable prices. Our kids were very welcome. We ate her in summertime in beautifull outside surrounding. Excellent antipasta. Take a table with a view on the chuch tower.

Viagrande on Tuesday - 9pm - seems everywhere else is closed - except here which TripAdvisor describes as pizza & pasta. Actually it's a take away pizzeria with a few plastic chairs and tables outside. Please Don't be put off - we paid and ordered 5 pizzas, two beers and a couple of fizzies, ~20⬠and sat back to wait - children moaning (at their hunger as well as the usual!)10mins later they arrived steaming hot in their cardboard boxes with a stack of napkinsWe tucked in - silence fell... They were v thin, crispy, baked in a wood oven with that delicious burnt / smoky crust. They were quite simply the best pizza I have ever eaten in ten years of Italian holidays! The secret apparently is in the Tumminia flour used to make the dough - unique to Sicily and as rare as hens teeth. We'll be back!

I live in Aci Sant'Antonio and wanted to try new pizza place. This pizzeria is just in the next town over, a few minutes away. I decided to try it based on the reviews. The pizza was good and had a nice thin crust. The staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely come here again.

Although on a busy main road, the pizza and pasta are very good. Prices are favourable and service is adequate. We ate here a couple of times. Marguerita with chips ON IT was a highlight.

Went to this restaurant on recommendation and found it was super. Very friendly staff and a little English spoken so dishes were as described. Good wine at a reasonable price and even some guitar playing and el patron singing to entertain us. Small local parties with young children who were charming. Take aways too. We went again and just as good. The fish and shellfish were excellent. Would recommend.

It was a beautiful lengthy Sicilian wedding and the reception was held here. The location is just stunning. The dining hall was gorgeous and some of the meal was very special. Some of it was almost inedible. We arrived all milling around to tiny glasses of juices after nearly an hour we given appetizers. There were few of them and they disappeared really quickly but a few of the little plates I tasted were out of this world. Out side in the garden they were offering little cones of mixed fried sea food. Actually they were just little fish and they were fried in oil that wasn't hot enough so they were not crisp or perfumed. I wonder if the chef doesn't know that the secret to a good crispy fry is rice flower and hot oil. They were pretty inedible most people discreetly threw their cones away full. Next was the sit down part with hot appetizers. It looked delicious but the shrimps were rubbery and the swordfish wasn't nice and fresh and smelling of sea, it had a metallic briney taste. Next course of risotto with fish was delicious but so salty that no one could eat it. The next dish of fish filled pasta was again too salty and a bit gluey. The seconds looked so good. A kind of fish pie with salmon potate and cod again impossible to eat because it was over salted. A delicious salad with lime and iceberg was so full of salt that it almost made me wince. Again most of the table had to leave it on their plates. Then it was time for sweets. They were to die for. Abundant, beautiful to look at and some almost unbearably sweet but it was pudding heaven. Little glasses with gelatines, little torte with ricotta sugar fillings, fresh cannoli, crisp and fragrant and a cassata which could have been one of the best I have ever eaten. Again erring on the sweet side. There was a little ice cream cart with very good ice cream and a huge white sponge and cream wedding cake. Unfortunately the cassata had put and end to my sweet tasting so I didn't manage to sample much else. If our dinner had been appetizers and sweets this place would have been a five star. Such a pity about the meal that came with a strong goodish white wine that hadn't been properly chilled.

I ate at this restaurant last November! And have been thinking about it ever since so much so that I wanted to leave a (very late) review. Myself and a group of around 12 friends stumbled upon this place on our last night of holidays (what a shame). We arrived after 10 and weren't particularly hungry but decided to get the 25 Euro set menu anyway as it was such good value. I have never in my life been as full as I was after this meal - we had about 8 different antipasti dishes which could have filled us alone, then the exquisite pasta spread, we were almost scared when we say the meats course come out but ultimately the food was too incredible to let go to waste. I skipped on the cannoli though because I was about to bust. But aside from the quantity - the food was truly incredible! The best most delicious and unpretentious food I had in Sicily and really anywhere in mainland Italy as well. Particular highlights were the broccoli affogato, caponata, pistachio pasta and the Mediterranean potatoes. I actually find myself dreaming about this meal from time to time - it was a true food memory and experience for me and everyone in my party. I really hope I get to come back some day!Dear, Eadoin, Thank you very much for this Great rewiew. Goodbye.
