Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Vernazza, Liguria, Italy. With Cinque Terre’s only proper harbor, Vernazza has a long history as a fishing village. While there is a small beach, sightseeing is more common in this astoundingly beautiful cliffside town. Highlights include the 16th-century Belforte Tower (which offers incredible views of the area), the 11th-century Doria Castle and the 14th-century Santa Margherita d'Antiochia church. It involves a steep hike, but the shrine at Nostra Signora Di Reggio (Our Lady of Reggio) is well worth it.

Terra Rossa is dedicated to those who love peace&quiet. We welcome you into our precious garden that looks onto centuries old hills filled with colour and pungent perfumes. We offers you genuine Ligurian products (anchovies, bruschette, stuffed focaccia,
We stopped for lunch at Terra Rossa and had a fantastic charcuterie board that came with two glasses of wine. The food was delicious, especially the marinated pearl onions. The ambiance was fantastic. It was a peaceful, serene setting in an outdoor covered patio. There is no wifi as there are signs hanging up stating this is time to be with friends and enjoy the company of people. Love it! It is a very photogenic gem inside and for views of Corniglia and the Riviera. It's a little way off the centre square and up the hill toward the path that takes you to Vernazza. Don't pass by this place! Corniglia was our favourite stop on our discovery of the Cinque Terre.Grazie. Tornate a trovarci.

We arrived in Monterosso on Sunday - this place is closed on Sunday and Mondays so we came on Tuesday evening about 7:30pm. There was a table inside the small restaurant that we were able to nab. The food is home-made. We both had the lasagne and it was only â¬9. The food came quickly. No reservations, just go and hope you get a table. You wonât be disappointed!

We rented an airbnb from Christiana, who owns and runs Pan e Vin Bar. What a wonderful host and cafe. If you can, sit outside to people watch and just take in the view of the beautiful spot. The breakfast was so good. The juice was squeezed on the spot. The croissants, baked goods, and bread delicious as well. Just a charming spot perfect for breakfast, lunch, or quick refresher.

This restaurant is in a lovely sea view space in Vernazza. I arrived and loved my table. We ordered the pasta with lobster and the black ink pasta with a fish dish. The service made me feel like I was invisible. The waiter was constantly checking up on the table to the left and right of me. I wasnât given a bowl for the lobster shells. He didnât notice. He liked the young cute couples. Food was good but the service awful.

Needed a takeaway coffee and found the lunchbox slightly off the beaten track. Great, kind service from both people inside and outside. Coffee made quickly and liked their request not to use takeaway cups if sitting down. Great tasting coffee, cappuccino was perfect. Loved the positive experience.

This place in Vernazza was the best meal we had in the Cinque Terra area! The gnocchi and salmon cream sauce brought me to tears of joy! And it's the only place in the whole of Italy that served not only edible bread, but wonderful and delicious bread, but they are also a bakery. The service was warm, friendly, and charming. This is where you come for good food and not overpriced crap with a view. Here the view is a parking lot. But who cares when you have dishes of this calibre and quality. We were staying in Manarola and took the 5 minute train ride over after reading the exhaulted reviews! Thanks for sharing such a gem! There is also an incredible cocktail bar at the bottom of the ramp from this place called the five senses (in Italian of course Cinque Sensi). Will review that next!

Great choice of piadinas.. cooked fresh to order.. fast, friendly service, thank you :) Bummer about all the stairs you need to climb to get there, but if you are heading up to see the view from the castle anyway, you MUST stop there for a piadina :)

Founded as a take-away pizzeria La Picea also offers a thirty seats (internal and external)It 'also famous for typical food, infact here you can find Farinata (chickpea flat pizza), focaccia al formaggio( typical white pizza), lasagne, vegetable cakes ...
Seems like we were an inconvenience with our waitress with that nasty attitude that italians can sometimes get. It seemed like we were causing her too much work! Unfriendly service. The 'signature pizzas' are pricey in comparison to others on the menu, but I they are good not doubt. The place was busy and I found our pizzas to be cold when delivered by another waiter. I will have to say that the pizza is very good, but with the service and attention that we received.... I can do without that part of the experience and will make me think twice about coming back. I ordered the prize winning Gola Pizza which named as an ingrediente crushed pine nuts.... I saw only a few.
