Reviews on Italian food in Ushuaia, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. The world's southernmost city is located on the Beagle Channel, between the Martial Range and the end of the world. It is a key access point to skiing at Cerro Castor and Glaciar Martial, wildlife adventures with penguins and orcas in the Beagle Channel, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Of course, it’s also the port of call nearest Antarctica, and a unique destination for kayaking, sailing or having a drink in a warm hotel bar.

Yamaha Bar is a stylish addition to the Ushuaia scene. It is out of the main tourist strip, but well worth finding. A good selection of beers and cocktails. Plus tasty snacks and bakery items. Well worth discovering.

This is a nice awesome find in Ushuaia. They offer some traditional pasta dishes, meaning Argentinean homemade pastas and lavish generous pizzas.Don't be beffudled due to some comments here that say it isn't an Italian trattoria. For one thing it has been far too long since Argentina has its claim upon a variation of Italian food which goes far beyond recipes. They make their own pasta and Italian style cheeses. So while it may not be absolutely Italian it is absolutely Argentinean Italian which for me means just as good.I ordered a pasta with a cheese sauce with mushrooms and found it awesome. We also ordered a salami pizza and it was outrageously delicious. The amount and mix of cheeses was perfect, so was its tomato sauce and the salame was nothing you find in the U.S.I highly recommend that you come here after trekking in beautiful Ushuaia.

Randomly saw this place and was subsequently recommended to it by front-desk of our hotel (who forewarned us that portions were enormous). There is a section of the menu devoted to cooked pasta dishes: we had verdura ravioli with chicken. Serving took 15 minutes to prepare and felt like about 2 kilos of food when it arrived.Excellent quality pasta and filling and a quarter of chicken.Prices are $10 - $20 USD for mains.A whole range of DIY options as well if you have cooking facilities.Interior is modern and spotless, staff are friendly and the boss has the focused-look of someone who knows what they are doing and does it well.

Wonderful wait staff here, as was the food. Lamb parilla was superb! A little bit pricey, but worth it for the meal. Very popular too with plenty of seating, which is always a good sign.

I love King Crab and Andino served a glass sundae dish full of unadulterated king crab meat! It was a bit pricey by South American standards but quite welcoming, appreciative and delicious! Just imagine, a big bowl full full of king crab meat! No claws to crack, just meat!We stopped here for lunch twice and both times I ordered the king crab. My husband had a sandwich and he was quite happy with it. A perfect stop for a quick lunch while you stroll the streets of Ushuaia and the many touristy gift shops! if you're looking for dinner, I would go elsewhere. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Ushuaia with more ambiance and a more diversified menu, i.e. Kaupe and Kalma. This is strictly for lunch!Very clean too which is a big criteria in my book!!!!

There is a LOT of pizza and pasta in Argentina--we ate a lot of it and really did enjoy this place. Had a ricotta and walnut pasta that was delicious, profiteroles for dessert were delicious. Our first waiter was a little strange--didn't bring us menus and then walked up to the table I think to take our order but didn't say anything...a new waiter took over for him who was super friendly and attentive.Hola Priya, muchas gracias por tu calificación y comentarios. Nos alegramos que hayas pasado un buen momento en 137 Pizza & Pasta. ¡Saludos!

We went here on the first night we arrived having found that the our hotel was closed. It was New Yearâs Day and few places were open so I think that excuses some of what happened that evening. We arrived just after 830pm and got the last available table. We ordered within fifteen minutes but the food took an hour to arrive and when it came some of it was cold. The waiting staff avoided eye contact for much of this time and got our waitress spent a lot of time cutting up crab for the people on the next table when she really should have been doing other things (the huge whole crab looks amazing but they were struggling to get through the shell). I think it was during that time that our food was going cold. When the food finally came and we had the second version of the fish which was by then hot, it was nice. The crab cannelloni was tasty with loads of crab meat and the hake was pleasant too. I would give the food 3 or 4 out of 5 but would struggle to give the service even 1 out of 5. As I say there were difficult circumstances with a lot of people waiting for food but there is no excuse for poor communication about the likely wait and no good excuse for cold food. Beyond that an apology would have been good but to be honest no one seemed to care, which is a shame. In the end there is no substitute for having a good attitude and that seemed to be missing. Muchas gracias por dejar tu opinión. Lamentamos mucho lo ocurrido, lo tomaremos en cuenta ¡Saludos!
