Spending aday in toulon and the surrounding proveinc during our recennt cruise was not nearly enough time but so worth every minute. The downton water front parks and shopping are not tbe missed .The food was wondeful and the day day to seasside national park with waves crashing the shoreline and strooling was an outstanding opportunity to drink in the french culture and people watch..Can'T wait to return with more time .. a medicvel castle town nearby is not to be missed as well . alot to do for a brief cruise stop but oh so worth it.. A taxi can be had for a day to maximize your time is a better investment than ship tours..you"ll see so much more for so much less ....
La Boite A Pates is a fresh pasta's restaurant made on site. You compose your plates witch our different pastas, sauces and cheese that we proposed.
We can definitely recommend this little restaurant. When we went, there were about six different pasta dishes on offer (the small range of choices might be a negative for some, though). The food tasted really fresh and the prices were adequate. You can choose between a normal and a big portion size. The "big" portion is worth the 1,50 more imo. We also had two different desserts which were great as well.

C'est un endroit où règne la quiétude et où il est bon de se poser un moment afin de vraiment apprécier le lieu. Ce que l'on vous sert dans l'assiette est d'une extrême fraîcheur. A recommander vivement.

Tried to eat here last night. The restaurant was half empty but we were taken to an unpleasantly cramped table in a corner right at the back. There were 3 if us - a fourth to arrive later. We asked 3 times if we could move to a different table. The waitresses didn't respond and just shrugged - clearly disinterested. They eventually moved us to another table, this time on the direct exit route from the kitchen. We asked why we couldn't sit at one of the mire central tables for 4, but were told we couldn't because we were only 3 and 4 people might come later (despite the fact that we had a 4th person joining us later.â¦) At this point we left to go somewhere else. When we left the proprieter didn't express any concern at our leaving just grunted as we walked past. I've never been to a restaurant where the staff were so rude and so disinteresd in their patrons! Don't go to this restaurant.

Family business down a side street near the train and bus stations, which serves reliable pizzas, steaks etc from a wood fired oven. We liked it and ate there twice in three nights
Where I travel in the world, eating local pizza, and drinking local beer is at the top of my list. I went to Pizzeria Taormina based upon Trip Advisor ratings. I went on a Saturday evening at 7 PM and the restaurant was over ½ full. By 8:30 PM when I left, there was not an empty seat in the house which speaks to the quality of the restaurant both in its food and service. It was filled with locals who all seemed to know the people working. I had a Greek Salad and it was ok, lots of tomatoes and cheese but a oil and vinegar dressing. I had a Pizza for my main course. The Pizza was good and well worth the visit. When you consider that I was in France eating Pizza and I normally eat Pizza in the USA, the Pizza Very Good. They have a good selection of French Wines and of course, my preferred drink beer. The service was excellent and friendly, you will not go wrong here.

This is a nice little place, very small, but worth a try. The menu is excellent and the pastries are very good. It is a busy place so best to try to go when in non lunch time. The prices are not too high and the portions are good. Service is very nice and friendly. Well worth the time for a nice lunch or some tea and pastry. We had the cannoli and some small pastry that were good.

We spent the morning at Toulon beach with our three year old and we're looking for a family friendly place to have a pizza, within walking distance from the beach. To make a long story short, we could not have found a better place! Pizzas were delicious, the owner couple is extremely friendly, our son got a small pizza with ham and mozzarella even for free! It is also clean and reasonably priced. It is about ten minutes walking distance from Toulon beach (where all the playgrounds are, too). ich danke Ihnen für die Zeit, um einen Kommentar nehmen . Wir freuen uns, Ihnen Freude zu haben. Wir sehen uns beim nächsten Urlaub
