Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Tirol. Once known as The Land of the Mountains, the 10,000-square-mile province of Tirol is a wonderland of gushing rivers, lush meadows and rugged peaks. Fantastic hiking trails wind along paths through the Zillertal Alps. Famed resort towns confetti the mountainsides, including Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Ischgl and Seefeld, site of some events in the 1964 and 1976 Winter Games. Compact capital Innsbruck is a medieval gem. The Tirolean identity is strong: Expect to see lederhosen and feathered hats.

Genuinely baffled by the good reviews, maybe the 4 of us ordered the absolute worst dishes but we all left disappointed and unimpressed by both food and service. The carbonara was honestly like something from a supermarket instant packet where you add water, very synthetic & orange in colour! The lasagne was low on meat and flavour, dry and lonesome looking. The waiter misheard vodka for Fanta and charged us for the mistake. Just a really bad experience. We had to interrupt the staff meal to get the bill. Not a patch on Brasserie Q or Manni for Italian or Steakhouse for lasagne. Sincerely.

Very good people human and open for questions and suggestions. Asking for feedback and improvements. The tables on the walkway was not a problem as it is fun watching people in and outside the restaurant walking by. The train can be a bit noisy but only for a moment. Food was very good and light, pasta or dumplings. It was so good I had to eat two evenings in a row, and as I was climbing up the Zugspitze, I asked for a BIG "Männer" portion of pasta and got it, just right to close such a heroic day!!! Thanks team well done!

So good we visited twice in one week. Very charming staff, lovely atmosphere, good music and a excellent choice of food and drinks. They had fantastic burgers and we also had pizza and Thai curry. Would love to go back!

Went here for some food after a few beers. Menu is limited but we had the classic burger. It was an excellent burger and good value (for St Anton). Service was very good.

Arrived in Innsbruck late afternoon, half an hour of shopping, walking through town, in the cold with the kids, looked at Tripadvisor, found Da Rocca and âBoomâ: fantastic food, low key, friendly, family type service, nice wine (and beer), kids happy......85 Eur. Best value restaurant in the world!!!!
We ended up here as it wsd the only place open on a Sunday night in Seefeld that wasn't going to cost us an arm and a leg for some dinner, but we're glad to have gone. It looks like a wooden food stand on arrival in the dark, and that is essentially what it is, except the stand is permanent and the food is of a better quality. We appreciated that their whole menu is available with (Very reasonable) prices on their website, there is a small area to park next to it, the menu is clearly laid out with allergens listed, the lady serving gave was friendly and her colleague who made the pizza clearly took care in what he was doing. All the pizzas are made by hand from scratch, with the dough all stretched out in the basic but apparently clean kitchen in front of you, and then cooked ready in about 15 mins or so. And the pizza really was tasty; we ordered a capricciosa and it had a lovely thin base and plentiful fresh toppings. There are two tables under shelter to sit at right in front and a steady stream of customers while we ate. They serve full size pizzas ranging from â¬8-10ish, burgers from about â¬6-8 and then a range of sides and drinks and a few ice cream lollies in the freezer. It's clearly not going to win gourmet dining awards, but I would've been happy to eat that pizza in any restaurant, which no doubt would've charged a lot more. Prices are reasonable, which can't be said for most other places here, alas!

The rewarding view across parts of the Alps, the friendly service and the typical local food is definitely worth the approximately 3 hours lasting steep hike to the Prantneralm! For the lazy ones or people with problems hiking there is a road from the valley which takes you all the way up to this gem!Thank you very much for your kind review!

Sat down, someone cleaned the table but left the dirty ashtray, then eventually returned with a menu. The wait wasnât over though as taking the order was also super slow. Drinks arrived and then the pizzaâs in a decent time. However the staff then disappeared for ages. Food eaten, drinks finished and no sign of staff. Eventually someone appeared to remove the plates. The pizza was good and the Ayinger beer a nice alternative in the area. It is a restaurant though, no drinking without eating appeared to be possible.
