Three of us went to BV Tuscany for a nice Italian dinner. Our expectations were exceeded!The service was top-notch. Several staff members helped us, each took pride in their service, and all knew the menu and offerings.The food was very innovative, and excellent. I had a shrimp dish that was a special of the night. It had no pasta, but lots of shrimp with marinara sauce and spinach. SO delicious! We shared the panna cotta and tiramasu. Both were very good.Not a cheap meal, but considering, it's a bargain. Love the upscale atmosphere, the neighborhood feel, and the food and service.

MUST have pizza from this place! I arrived for a visit at a friend's home and the family was late getting back from activities SO everyone agreed on pizza from here. This place specializes in putting almost ANYTHING on a pizza. IF it's on the menu here, you can get it on their pizza! We actually got Penne Vodka on a pizza and it tasted awesome! We also ordered a meat lovers pizza which came with sausage, pepperoni, ham and burger IF I remember correctly and that tasted great too. We got a Caesar salad with avocado and chicken too. We got take out and someone else picked it up so I have NO idea about the restaurant itself. However, if the pizza is any indication, it's probably worth a visit.

We visited as a couple last week to celebrate our anniversary . Sanzariâs has been recommended to us by friends and reviews looked great. However we were left a bit flat by the experience . Things that were good- staff weâre great- pork chop did live up to hype- ambience was lively , layouts good - wine was nice - sitting at bar before meal was pleasant, they had a good singer on and the bar staff were friendly Things that were not great- my wifeâs teriyaki calamari was awful, it was coated in a sticky sweet and sour sauce and was nothing like it was described on the menu . It was like a Chinese take away dishâs and was far to big. - my lasagne was bland and tasteless, I was really looking forward to it with it being an old fashioned Italian I expected a great lasagne. It was supermarket quality at best unfortunately and again far to big. - at the end of the evening we felt rushed out, we didnât sit till 9 and everyone had gone, the feeling was they were waiting for us to get up and leave. - bill, it was too pricey for the quality of the food we received . At the time we tried to brush it off as we had a nice evening overall but on reflection it didnât come up to scratch on the food front. Will probably not return which is a real shame .......

In this typical northern NJ Italian restaurant, the service is great and the food is very good. However, itâs not anything you havenât seen in other Italian restaurants. Itâs also very cramped and as others have noted, can get a bit noisey. Our server was attentive, everything came out perfectly. Donât plan on any leftovers to enjoy another day as portions are ample for your meal, just not âgenerousâ. Drinks are pricey, as are their desserts. Owners are on hand to great you and make sure everything is as it should be during your ,dining time there. Our table had an assortment of dishes. Steak, ravioli, & 3 different mixed seafood combos. All perfectly cooked. Bread comes with an interesting tomatoes relish of sorts. They have a large parking lot and the bar is often crowded.

We order food to take out. The hot antipasto is excellent with generous portions enough for 2. We make this a meal with their huge chicken fingers! We've also ordered their cold antipasto salad which also was enough for 2. Great parking and close to walking distance and bus service if need be.

The restaurant changed hands recently, and this was my first experience under the new owner. Everything was great. For the entree, I had a pasta dish. I decided to try it with the zucchini and carrot noodles which the menu said was available. Delicious! The staff is very friendly, and the chef even came out to chat and inquire how we liked our meals.

Warm welcoming staff serving excellent food. The chick pea soup was tasty and served hot. Pasta with artichoke was excellent in white wine and chicken marsala with shrimp was delicious. Their menu is large and they are accommodating to food issues. We will definitely return

The Excellent rating does not do any justice to Max's. Great local spot that has the freshest food in town, a true diamond in the ruff. Cozy atmosphere, perfect lighting and the aroma of the most amazing food hits you in the face from the moment you walk in the door, it is like your walking into a home that just says WELCOME! Max the chef and owner makes it a point to come out and greet each guest to ensure everything is to perfection, if your lucky enough he will even have a seat to chat for a moment! The entire staff is amazing and very accommodating. The specials offered are amazing but rest assure every dish on the main menu is special. This is a BYOB with NO CORKING FEE which is unusual to find in most places. I can truly compare Max's to dishes I have had in Rome, this is the closest to home you will ever find. If your not from the area make sure you find your way to Max's and take homes are a must! I never return my plate to the kitchen other than empty!

My family enjoys our local Italian eatery. Can sit in or take out. Casual atmosphere. Food is always delicious. The Chicken Marsala is my favorite. My daughter loves the fettuccine Alfredo. My son enjoys the penne ala vodka. Excellent pizza. Have used TPR for trays to go to host a party at my house.
