We popped in for lunch on our way down to Shrewsbury and it was a real treat .. We had never experienced Italian Tapas before & they were delicious and reasonably priced with good service & help . We will definitely return for an evening meal

Visited here as a group of 6 friends on a Friday evening in August. Decor is great and our waiter and waitress were really attentive. We ordered two courses each. The scallops were fantastic. The bolognaise and rocket side salad were okay- not the best Iâve ever had and not the worst. Some friends loved their food, others thought it was just okay. Service was excellent though and the company was fantastic!

This was our second visit to Chester in three years. We decided to go back to The Yard for another look to see if their menu was as good as it was the last time..... It was even better. I have a Wheat and Dairy intolerance and the chef could not be more helpful. If you are looking for really great "modern Italian" food with great flavours then this is the place to eat. We were here for three nights and ate here twice.... Need I say more.Prices are also very reasonable. Staff very professional and very helpful. We will be back the next time we are down.
