In fact, we (family of 5: 2 adults and 3 kids aged 11-14) bumped accidentally into this little restaurant while looking for another place. How lucky we were that we stepped inside and that they had a table available ! The welcome was very friendly, and in very good English. The place does not have a written menu but the available dishes (which change every two weeks or so) are explained extremely friendly. They work with fresh ingredients, and the plates are very pure, authentic and tasty. The mixed antipasti were awesome, and so were the different pasta and meat dishes. We went to several restaurants during our vacation in Tuscany, and most of them were (very) good, but the entire family was convinced that this was the best place of them all. And all this for an excellent price. Very highly recommended, we would return anytime !!

Wow!!This was better than expected. Brothers Filippo and Lorenzo have established a first class restaurant, drawing on international experience and offering a beautiful environment, amazing food and an eclectic wine list. This is not your usual Italian fare - not the âhomelyâ style. Very special. And the dolce is amazing.

Went recently as part of a group of 8. Four ordered the Milanese (breaded cutlet), two thought it was good, two thought it was tough and/or had too much breading. We also had mixed reviews on the pasta, some thought very good, others thought just OK compared to other meals we had had recently. Prices were good and service was OK, but overall I was not as impressed as I thought I would be after reading the other reviews.

By chance we found this little restaurant, hidden behind a grocery shop, with the promising name 'Grandma Lolla'. We had a three course pranzo with very good food. The home made pasta is authentic and delicious, the bacalau in Tomato sauce was gorgeous, the veal stew a bit too salty. The conto including water and wine a mere 40 â¬... To be recommended!

Amazing castle hidden within the northern Arezzo's hills ( casentino ). Very accurate and kind service, all food cooked on the spot, especially the grilled meat ( steak, pork chops their specialities ) and the vegetables grown within their farm. Excellent wine selection of local vignards. Pleasant outdoor seating. The table setting a little bit too "cheap" not in line with the location, yet a very very nice place.

Weâve just finished a wonderful pizza meal at this establishment where the founder Roberto Dini is still making the pizzas 49 years later. Quite remarkable. And clearly the passion to make great pizzas is still there. It was a pleasure to meet Roberto and congratulate him on our excellent meal. Our very generous pizzas filled with top quality ingredients cost Euros 6.50 each. Ridiculously cheap for anywhere in 2018. Highly recommended

We had a great lunch at this restaurant and service was excellent. We order appetizers, pasta and meat. Everything was delicious. As dessert we order a "crostata" , clearly home made, it was so good that we order another one. I definitely recommend this place.

Tipical tuscan restaurant. Ancients recipes and km0 products.
This taverna is rather out-of-the way but well worth seeking out. Warm welcome, helpful host who sat down with us to help us make our choices. Good choice, and they would have adapted their menu to our needs. All the food freshly cooked. We had a delicious meal, good wine list as well. Not too costly either. Thoroughly recommended.
