We tried this place a few months ago. It took over the location where Momento's used to be, and we were looking forward to a new pizza place to try. We were exceptionally disappointed. It tasted very generic, like Little Caesars or something. It wasn't the worst I have ever had or anything - just nothing to write home about.

Service is some what slow for a afternoon lunch, the salad was excellent but our main dishes were barely warm. Our granddaughters (7 yr) meal had three hairs in it, the manager apologized and took her kids meal off the bill. I would suggest that if you eat there check your meal carefully. We will never eat there again. Note We were not expecting to get our whole me for free but expected a more heart felt apology from the manager.

We stopped in here twice on our trip to the Poconos. We've been here several times before, and their food, everything we've tried is amazing and their pizza is the best around!!! If you go here be sure to try the tartufo (Italian Ice Cream). It's hard to find anywhere else. You won't regret it, save room for this!

Based on all of the excellent reviews, I expected better. The atmosphere is typical take-out pizza joint with a bunch of eat-in booths. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait time for our food was long. The pizza was good but not exceptional. The calamari appetizer was chewy and greasy. The baked clams likewise dry and chewy. The veal parmesan tasted like frozen imitation veal patties doused with tomato sauce and a bunch of melted mozzerella cheese. The meatballs were good. The pasta was average and the sauce tated like pure tomato puree. Prices were very modest.

I have to believe they are under new management, because the former managers wouldn't allow for this restaurant to slip like they have. Disappointing, because we have ordered our pizza from here for years. Pizza is average and the staff really don't seem to care about the wait or even the customers. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the last three times, but I think its time we moved on. We won't be returning.

Another lunch visit to our favorite GREEK eatery.Last time we tried the Lemon Chicken Soup; nice flavors. This lunch we chose the Stratciatella full of wilted spinach, hearty, eggy broth and always filling; hugh bowl for $5 and big enough to satisfy on its own.The gyro meat is clearly above standard and the sandwich main winner; easily 7/8 long, thick strips along with lettuce, tomato and onions, tsasciki sauce and pita . . . . best in 50 mile radius!!Love the desserts so we always take a few items to go.Tins and Carmella pleasantly keep the front full of happy diners; great service ladies

on our annual visit to Shawnee we have gone to the same places for years but this year decided on new ones since one of the traditionals had gotten boring and the other closed. Pure luck that we chose Mementos. Quite busy on a Friday night although many tables cleared fast. We were on the bar side because the online site had made only a booking for two and not four so not sure how things flowed on the dining side. Amazingly it was not that noisy on the bar side even with the tv. Service was efficient and friendly. I had the baby goat special which was a very delicious stew but my pieces were a bit grissly for $32 a plate. The side dishes were quite nice. A side order of broccoli rabe was not as velvety as you'd find in So.Philly homes but luckily was not crunchy like many restaurants seem to make it. Overall a nice dish. The gnocchi with shrimp and pesto was very good and loved by the two who ordered it. Very nice veal scampi ended the entrees.Shared a very nice key lime dessert and two nice cappucino.Definitely on the probable return next year list.

Our family had a delicious meal at Garlic. The bacon wrapped scallops, wedge salad, and pear salad were all incredible. We had two cuts of meat - filet and tenderloin - plus a lobster tail, whipped potatoes, asparagus, and lobster Mac n cheese. All were wonderfully prepared. The service was top notch. *The only thing to be aware of is that wine by the bottle is extremely pricey...there wasnât a bottle of Cabernet or Pinot Noir under $65. We brought our own wine in and even with the $30 corkage fee it was total cost less than anything the restaurant had.
