The Kings head house is a boutique hotel & restaurant. With a stunning private board room to dine in for up to 22 guests or the garden or bar with over 50 covers it is intimate & relaxed. The team run this 19 th century Georgian property with care and att
I have visited for drink or food now 3 times. Nothing has been particularly bad, but likewise nothing has been particularly great.for example, The last two largers I have had have felt flat. . I wouldnât normally take to trip advisor, but on this occasion I felt it nessaary. I ordered fromThere takeaway pizzas menu. Stone baked that is offered as a dinner or a takeaway. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered they were burnt black on the underside. Others were made promptly. Things happen. However I was not expecting a lecture on stonebaked pizza as if I didnât know how they work. I have one in the garden by the way. Best to go to the Badger down the road where the service and food is always exceptionalHi Thomas H,Thanks for the review and bringing your experiences to my attention.I am sincerely sorry that your pizza was burnt, having spoken with the chef, it seems that we used too much flour on this occasion. I am pleased the replacements were better. We are very proud of our guest service, as you can see from previous reviews, so I can assure you that it was not our intention to 'lecture' you about wood-fired ovens. just offer an explanation from an apologetic team member.I am unable to comment on the lagers feeling flat as it wasn't brought to our attention at the time. I would like to note however that we use clean, branded lager glasses, regularly clean our beer lines and have a Cask Marque accreditation. The most likely scenario is that the gas may have needed changing so I have briefed the team accordingly on what to look for if the gas is running out.We love the Badger as well! I think Eastington is lucky to have two great hospitality businesses.I hope you will come back and visit us again. Kind regardsAnt

Authentic Italian food, cooked by Giuseppe. Our small but ever changing menu will have fresh fish, pasta and meat dishes and because everything is cooked to order, we can easily cater for vegetarian, gluten free and vegan diets.
I had no idea Guiseppeâs was there and am so glad weâve now discovered it! Our food (mixed sharing platter, followed by steak and a zucchini dish) was absolutely delicious and Giuseppe himself came around to answer questions about the dishes and describe them to us. The menu in general was very tasty sounding and he always has a speciality pasta. We will definitely be returning! If you enjoy authentic Italian food, youâll enjoy Guiseppeâs! Go and support this independent restaurant!!

I always heard great things about Fat Toniâs and finally decided to give it a go. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and always struggles to find places that do pizza with a decent dairy free cheese. I donât have any intolerances and even though the pizza we had was dairy free it was absolutely delicious. For sure one of the best pizzas we had in a long time. Generous toppings with a crisp and thin base. We will definitely order again.

Our fourth visit to Sorrento - loved it the first time and the second, third and tonight. Really friendly and warm service throughout and the food is absolutely amazing every time! Canât rate this restaurant highly enough- and Iâm a fussy foodie so it must be good ! Had Pizza for the first time tonight as always love the prawn pasta dish ( so had that as a starter) - Huge and such wonderful flavours! Calamari is to die for! So impressed that we have had great food every visit. Nice that the owners took time out to chat with us! Canât wait to go again!

I visited Toniâs Kitchen for the first time this week after hearing raving reports on this fine Italian hot spot in the Cotswolds and it far exceeded my expectations. Booking to be advised as I understand people are beginning to travel from other counties to experience what this place has to offer. With a warm, welcoming and intimate interior, the knowledgable and attentive front of house staff showered us with the best of Italian hospitality. The ever changing menu was peppered full of a variety of dishes to suit every palette and dietary requirement. I struggled to choose between the dishes on offer - each one sounding staggeringly good. Toniâs Kitchen proudly displays a sign above the kitchen door - âour happy placeâ and how fitting. The head chef and owner Jason Orsi is clearly more than a chef- he is an artist at work. Everything on the menu is all made freshly in house, from ravioli to ice cream, created from a palette of ingredients and condiments that are responsibly and carefully sourced for their quality, sustainability and taste. Not forgetting younger guests- children are welcomed and can choose from the main menu too; a whole family dining experience- typical of the welcoming and inclusive culture that sets Italy apart. The garden is also worth a mention - plenty of outdoor dining space that is trailing with edibles growing from every corner which I am told is used on the restaurant menu - Jerusalem artichokes form a windbreak and an attractive screen and appears on the menu in a gratin and Nasturtiums brighten borders as well as the humous appetiser that is jewelled with pomegranate and accompanied by fresh in-house baked loaves. I can honestly say that I ate the best meal of my life in Toniâs Kitchen and will be returning very soon. My advice to anyone who is visiting anywhere near the Cotswolds is to visit this charming little piece of Italy and for those who follow the finest, keep your eye on this place. We left feeling more than satiated and were taken on a memorable culinary and cultural journey.

Lovely local restaurant, have eaten there a few times with friends & everyone has always had good meals. The service is always friendly & attentive, it is always busy & for good reason. Think over all value & portions good, have had the starter size risotto for main before. Extensive menu choice which normally makes me nervous about quality but between us we have had several dishes & all the starters & mains are fab, especially the risottos. But feel the desserts are disappointing (tiramsu is OK) after the choice & quality of other courses. Luckily always full after main but would love to have choice of really good home made Italian desserts.

Authentic family run Italian restaurant serving fresh homemade Italian food. What makes this restaurant special is the variety of different Italian dishes and the very friendly service.
Lovely welcoming restaurant with a nice varied menu and excellent service. A couple more menu choices on the starters and desserts might have been nice, but otherwise faultless. We were running late and they were so nice about it!
