Reviews on Italian food in Staten Island, New York, United States. The most suburban of the five boroughs, Staten Island is often neglected as a tourist destination. Take a ride from Manhattan on the Staten Island Ferry and get some of the best views of New York City for free, then stick around and see what Staten Island has to offer. Check out the Himalayan monastery-style Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, or visit Historic Richmond Town for a recreation of colonial New York. The beautiful Hamilton Park neighborhood was the setting for "The Godfather."

Friends from out of town were arriving and we needed a place to reserve a table for six. Basilio's came to mind. We were greeted by Mauricio and his team upon arrival. Everyone enjoyed libations, appetizers and a variety of entrees. The staff were great about keeping the beverages fresh and attending to everyone's questions. Mauricio stopped by after dinner and exchanged in conversation with the table which always make the dinner a little nicer. A very enjoyable experience and we are always certain that we will return.

Fine Italian food and craft cocktails
We took my Mom out to dinner on her birthday and to say the least the food and service were second to nobody, We were treated like family and left with full bellies. They even surprised us with dessert on the house and a awesome rendition of Happy Birthday for my Mom. Thank you Danny and the rest of the Bin 5 crew for an awesome night out

With two Kitchens, and while one is always staffed by an Italian Grandmother, we simultaneously feature a Grandmother from another country cooking up their cultural cuisine.. We are proud to present, Nonnas of the World! thank you for supporting our effor
I took my friend there,it was her first time. The night we were there, grandmas frm Italy and Turkey were in the kitchen. We opted for Italian. We started with Fiore di Zucca(Three baked zucchini blossoms stuffed with hard-boiled egg, ham, and mozzarella).I had Braciole di Carne(Tender rolls of veal filled with vegetable and mozzarella cheese cooked in red sauce. Served with side vegetables). My friend had Lasagna della Nonna (Sheets of pasta layered with beef and pork ragu, ricotta and mozzarella in a tomato sauce). I had a glass of wine-Grandpa ChaCha- light red wine(not too dry). We ended with a Cannoli (Italian pastries stuffed with fresh, in-house made cannoli cream and chocolate chips). I had an Espresso, I asked if they had anisette(Sambucca), which they did and I put some in my coffee, I was not charged for the few drops I used. Most restaurants pour you a shot and charge you. This was a very pleasant surprise. Everything we ate was so delicious. The zucchini blossoms are only available for a short while, eat them while you can!! This braciole was the best I've had since Mom passed. The lasagna was equally as great..The wait staff is wonderful, very attentive. Reservations are strongly suggested.

Family Friendly Place. A Lot Of Fun. Very friendly staff. We were celebrating Birthday.Got song "Happy Birthday!" from staff. They make you feel comfortable. A little noisy, but bearable. I recommend a family style food. we had $59.99 per person, but $49.99 pp is more than enough. Enjoy!!!

Everything about this place is first class, the service, the food, the prices. There is just no other way to describe it. Their Pasta con Sarde on St. Joseph's day in March is the best you are gonna find anywhere.

We dined at Deninoâs last night and had a great time. They have greatly expanded the menu. We didnât order any, but there are plenty of appetizers and salads to select now. We had our standard pie with half sausage. It was delicious! I tried their cheesecake which was excellent as was the espresso.

Went to Leeâs for the first time this past Saturday for lunch. It was everything I expected and more. A classic neighborhood tavern. Dark, small and friendly. And the food was good too! I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and my giant had the pie with ricotta cheese and broccoli. Both were amazing. Thin crust and crispy. Sauce was perfect. I donât live close but if Iâm ever in the area I would make a point of stopping in again.

Local restaurant which we passed for 25 years. Finally made a reservation. We were greeted by the owner and went to the bar to have a drink while waiting for our other guests. Barmaid was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Food portions are large and delicious. Also have a pizza menu. Wait staff is attentive and you are not rushed. My only recommendation would be to offer better wines by the glass. We will go back.
