So excited that Extra Virgin is open again after taking a break after low season. First night open and they are right back into the swing of things, doing everything with excellence, as usual. Service=impeccable, love sitting at the bar where the service is amazing and everything came out super fast. The spinach salad was delicious and as usual the shrimp and crab pasta was heaven with every bite!!! Thank you again!

Cafe Roma has served St. John since 1981. The restaurant has been voted "BEST ITALIAN CUISINE" in the US Virgin Islands, seven years in a row. Cafe Roma serves delicious Italian Trattoria-style cuisine with an extensive menu, full bar and has a vast selec
My husband and I were excited to try Cafe Roma and were soooo disappointed by not only the food but the ambiance, if that is what you call it! The restaurant is situated on top of a bar and it's not in a nice area what so ever. Cafe Roma is dirty, dated and has FLIES EVERYWHERE! We have eaten outside many times in St. John and have never seen this many flies and it is in an air conditioned closed room! The food was mediocre...I ordered the flat bread and pasta with brocolli in a wine sauce. My husband got a salad and the same pasta with chicken added. My flat bread was basic...bread with cheese melted. Nothing special. The pasta was terrible...neither one of us liked it. The wine sauce was just WINE...no flavor other than that, and bad wine to boot! Trust me, we have had way better experiences on the island! Stephanie was our server and the only redeeming part of tonight's experience! She was friendly and kept apologizing for the flies...so why don't they DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM? I would highly recommend you go somewhere else for dinner, because this set us back $90 with tip and that was a CRIME!!Hello Sorry about your visit to Cafe Roma.We have had to restaff due to the off season and we are under renovation. And the worst part we let your party down. When you return again to St John please try us again. The meal is on us. I read your review to my new staff who had only been together for 2 days when you had dinner. It was a eye opener and we will strive to improve.

A tiny little pizzabar {in paradise} serving up Boston/NY style pizza, calzone, salad, beer, wine, Sangria, cocktails and more.
We called ahead and took a few pizzas and a calzone back to the house we rented. They do have a few tables, but you may want to call your order in if you do not want to wait. They have a bar and we ended up waiting enough time for one beer. If you like to explore, come out and grab a bite.

Ronnie's Pizza an' mo' is just that ,pizza an mo. A little taste of home for the wayward traveler and locals alike . Featuring our Island famous pizzas along with salads, calzones, hot subs ,buffalo chicken wings , french fries an' mo' !!!! And for th
On our night to âcookâ for the 13 people we were vacationing with, we elected to get 4 pizzas and some salads from Ronnieâs. It was a hit! Pizza was really delicious - we had a meat lovers, cheese, pepperoni and a pep/sausage. All were great, but meat lovers was my favorite. 4 large pizzas and two salads was just a bit over $100, which on the island is downright cheap. We got ours as takeout, which was really easy to phone in the order and easily pick it up. We called several hours early and ordered for a specific pickup time. Everything was ready and appropriately hot/cold when we got there. Super easy and delicious, will definitely order from Ronnieâs again next trip.

The food is great but the service is terrible. When we arrived 30 minutes past opening time, the staff was milling about do things that should have been done before opening. They were still preparing the little signs about the daily specials that didn't reach the tables for another 30 minutes. No one approached our table to ask if we wanted anything for at least 15 minutes. We had to get assertive and stop a staff person as they tried to zip past our table. Finally someone came out and put a couple plates on our table and some DIRTY glasses but still did not take an order. Finally when our food arrived it was put down and the server zipped away. We had to stop someone else to ask for silverware and napkins. The bartender was horrible and I guess was responsible for serving the tables in the bar area. He basically ignored our table but was partying it up with a table of young ladies. They need a waiter that is responsible for the tables in the bar and the bartender needs to do bartender work. We had to wave him down more than once to remind him of drinks we ordered. We felt like no one was responsible for serving our table. I love the food but it was a frustrating dealing with the staff.First, weâd like to apologize that you did not thoroughly enjoy your dining experience at Lucky Chops; and thank you for sharing your experience with us. We always want to know if there are problems with our service so we can address the issues and correct anything that does not meet our guestsâ expectation.
