During a brief visit to Spoleto we discovered Silver Spuleti and had an amazing lunch. We had amazing pinserias (basically a delicious pizza) with local organic cheese and prosciutto plates. The chilled white wine of sagrantino grapes hit the spot and the service was impeccable! Grazie Silver Spuleti!

We made a reservation for this restaurant a couple of weeks in advance because we had theatre during the Spoleto festival and wanted to have dinner before it. Naturally, we took the earliest time. When we arrived it was completely empty, but for some reason the woman who greeted us did not allow us to sit at the table we wanted. There was no reservation sign on it and she didnât give us any explanation. She pointed to three tables next to it and said we can sit at one of those just because we are first. The setting outside was really lovely. The weather was hot, but it got nicer in the evening and the street in which the restaurant is located was cute. We placed our order and saw people arriving one table after another. Quite fast it got busy. The duo that required about a table earlier, passing by, came back with another person and got the table that I wanted. That was weird and unpleasant. I liked where we were sitting but I didnât understand what was this whole big deal about it and it made me feel uneasy. I started the meal with a glass of white wine to pair it with my sformatino (rice with cream and truffle). After this I ordered a small carafe of red wine to go with my steak, but the woman didnât bring a new wine glass. My husband asked it for me. Beef filet was ordered medium-rare and even though there is no such concept in Italy (they donât have medium-rare or medium-well options), I expected it either rare or medium but not cooked through. You can see it on my photos. The cut is medium-well to well done. Meat was fresh and juicy though. I liked the taste of it. Obviously, because of the theatre, I didnât point it out or asked to replace it. We had the dessert and paid our bill. After all, an ok experience. If you are dining here, I suggest to order meat rare if you like it medium-rare. Inside rooms are very pretty too, so even if you are not dining outside, itâs still very nice.

From Marcello and Rita's welcome to the delicious plates of food, everything about The Osteria 2 chiacchiere excites your senses and shows Spoleto at its finest. The atmosphere is charged with friendly laughter and everyone is made to feel like an old friend. The two hosts are skilled at making the whole restaurant feel part of a large family and don't be surprised if you find yourselves chatting with people on the next table. It's that kind of place. It's lovely. There is an abundance of choice on the menu - the antipasti taglieri had a selection of meats and cheeses which were some of the best I've tasted here in Umbria. The primi are culinarily exciting and the 2chiacchiere do their own take on some of the traditional dishes that are fabulous. It's clear the staff are proud of what they offer, as each course is described with such passion that it's almost impossible to resist asking your companions to try the things you didn't order and they did.Your glass is not permitted to remain empty for long either. My family and I had such a magical evening and even made a couple of new friends off the next table. 2chiacchiere in Italian means having a nice chat, and as such, this venue leaves you with the same sense of satisfaction. I reccomend 2chiacciere without hesitation. We had lunch there earlier in the week and dinner tonight. 5stars plus an additional supernova!

We visited this wonderful restaurant at the recommendation of our Bed & Breakfast hosts. We weren't disappointed! The service was wonderful and we were well taken care of by the staff. We loved dining outside in the square behind the restaurant. The food absolutely lived up to the hype. We each had an appetizer, entree, and dessert, along with a bottle of wine and water and our bill was still less than 100 euros. It was everything you'd expect from a Michelin star restaurant but without the pretentiousness or price. Apollinare will be top of our list for dining when we return to Spoleto.

Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had in Spoleto. Excellent service, an extensive and varied menu, friendly and courteous staff. Each course was presently beautifully, was served hot and was delicious. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The only issue I had was that the contori was delivered to the table after we had finished the main course, apart from that, an excellent fine dining experience. Highly recommended.

Rarely you have the luck to pick the first place nearby suggested by TripAdvisor and find a special place like Cuore & Sapore. You could say that it's a testament to Italian and Umbria's cuisine if you can almost walk into a place at random and have it top the charts of the best places I ever ate at. The average in Italy is so high that it takes an extra gear or two to better it, but this is exactly what this place does: starting with service that was very welcoming and attentive. When it comes to the food everything was homemade and cooked to perfection: from the different types of bread, to the typical pasta, to the desserts. If I was a Michelin guide rater, I'd say that this place is one that deserves a detour if you're in the area.

We, born2travel staff, have spent a nice evening at Drogheria Biondi, chatting with the nice Tommaso, the owner, and another customer about Spoleto culture but above all tasting a great "panino" with jam hand cut with homemade cheese. Nice place located in the city center of Spoleto and perfect stop over during your stay. aboslutely recommended it

Thereâs so much to say about this incredible Restaurant completely specializing in Fish and Seafood. My family of 6 adults and one child happened upon it and were so happy we did. It is run by the Owner/Chef who drives to Naples to get the fish and seafood and cooks the most flavorsome incredible dishes Iâve experienced in a seafood Restaurant. We chose 2 plates of grilled Prawns in Balsamic and they were heaven! Also prawn and calamari fried in a very light tempura batter with fresh lemon. Linguini with lobster and a tomato base sauce and Gnoccetti with prawns in a stunning sauce, and fried Cod in a light batter that was so good, my brother in law ordered another portion. Although they didnât have a child menu they made a pasta with tomato base sauce and she loved it. The most incredible ending was the Rum Baba. My God ! Devine is not enough to describe it. It was heavenly We spoke to the young Owner/Chef and his passion for his craft is palpable. Together with his English speaking partner they have a winning combination and we encourage anyone into their seafood to go and enjoy the experience. Awesome Thank you Dereks. If you come again in Spoleto we waiting for you.
