We were out trying to find somewhere nice to eat... We looked at this "Italian" restaurant and decided to stay there for dinner. While looking at the restaurant we couldn't realised that it was an Italian one... There was no sign, the interior design was nothing special etc. We looked at the menu and the name convinced us that it is indeed Italian. We were really happy because we would eat Italian pasta and pizza!!! While looking at the menu we realized that this was a high priced restaurant with minimum price 16E per course.... We were 4 persons; we ordered 4 different courses pasta and one pizza. Pizza arrived first.... It was really small for an 18E pizza.... It was similar to the ones we buy from super market.... With regards to taste nothing special. We where unhappy but still waiting for the pasta to come... The pasta arrived... the waitresses didn't even know how to distribute the plates!!!! Usually pasta courses are served in deep dishes but these were in shallow ones with no more than 25 penne pcs, with a cost of minimum 16E per dish... Our bill was 96E!!!!!!! Without desert and we were still hungry... We left dissapointed and went somewhere else....
Spetses Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Spetses
I went to have dinner at Ombra alone , but with the idea to enjoy the fantastic food of Dante restaurant ... unfortunately Dante does not exist anymore and instead now there is another Italian restaurant called Ombra ! First I did not feel very welcome... but as I was tired and starving i stayed anyway . Secondly i looked at the menu , quite expensive but i picked a saffron risotto , difficult to be disappointed with such a dish usually....well , not great pick ! My sweet was not great either, so i paid and left quickly, as the ambiance was not very warm and the staff quite arrogant ... Anyway thanks god i arrived on time at my hotel to spend the whole night in the bathroom, sick like hell , and for the next day as well !!!So i will never go back and i would really recommend to avoid it if you donât want to ruin your stay in Spetses !

This place is one of range of restaurants set round a square and seems to share a kitchen with the Clock eatery with burgers coming out of one kitchen and pizzas another. Everything we had was fresh and tasty, great value and very good service.

Rise and shine with an excellent espresso, indulge yourself with healthy snacks and enjoy a cocktail over the sunset.
I was at Spetses for the 25KM Spetses Mini-Marathon Race. I was looking for a quiet, relaxing place to have dinner and found this gem. Normally, in the summer, I imagine it will be quite crowded, but in October, it was relaxing, closing up for the season and I ate there every night during my 3 night stay. Since I was alone, the staff really made an effort to engage me with conversation and suggestions for the menu. A truly remarkable dinner every night... Carbonara, Linguini, and Rigatoni as well as one of there unique salads every night was all I needed since I needed a few days of Carbo-Loading. I met the owner as well, and truly felt like a special VIP guest for the full 3 days. Special Bravo to Miss Cindy, and Mr. Alexander who even on their last night at the restaurant before the season ended, treated me like I was the only guest in the restaurant. Cozy, comfortable, good food, and reasonable prices. See you all next year! I will definitely come back next year and bring my family with me for the Armada event in Spetses.

After a disappointing fine dining experience the night before, the Clock restored oor confidence in the Spetse food offer. The pizzas are superb although you probably only need one between two people with a salad!. Good location near the harbour and handy for the open air cine afterwards.
