myself, my husband and 4 friends booked a table at Gusto to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of the group. We'd eaten there before and always had a lovely meal with great service. Sadly on this evening, this wasn't going to be the case...When we arrived we got a warm welcome and the drinks we ordered arrived quickly. we were asked a few times if we wanted to order but weren't ready. when we were ready we had to ask twice if we could orderthe starters arrived after only a short while and we all agreed they were very tasty. so all good there. But it all started to do downhill with the mains...Food arrived and mine and another person's steaks were only a little warm. not good. when paying around £25 for your main you want it at least to be hot!We called the waiter over and explained, the food was quickly taken away and we got an apology. we then waited....and waited... and waited. the rest of our group were eating as slowly as possible but they did eventually finish. During this time we complained to a waiter how long it was taking for the 2 dishes to be redone. ( we thought they'd perhaps be prioritised to a degree considering the rest of the table had their food)we then spoke to a gentleman who must have been the manager. He apologised and offered us a discount on the food which we accepted but the main focus was getting our food. He came back and said it was just coming out. we then waited another 10 mins for it to arrive!my friend's steak was perfect she said but mine was very rare. I ordered medium rare. as I didn't want to wait any longer for my meal I ate it. but didn't enjoy it as I don't like my steak too rare. After the meal, our plates weren't taken and we also weren't offered dessert. Luckily we had some cupcakes with we bought for our friend for her birthday so we had one of those each for pudding!we asked for the bill 3 times and when it came they had kindly only charged us for drinks, no food. which was a bigger discount than we expected. However, it didn't deflect from the fact our evening hadn't been good. Observing what was going on that night, we could see the waiting staff dashing around, working very very hard. We could see dishes being put out by the kitchen and not being taken. so we concluded, simple case of too many customers and not enough staff to deliver the high service and quality level you'd expect. we all agreed we'd go to Gusto again but sorry Gusto, we WON'T be back on a Saturday night again!!Hi, thanks for the review. We've read this quite thoroughly, and we're always grateful for feedback. We know where we went wrong, and we'll use this to improve. We know you'll be back again, and as such we'll see you again soon. Many ThanksGusto Leamington Spa

Carluccios Leamington Spa looks bright and inviting with new chairs freshening up the feel. Montse gave me such a warm welcome, as do all the team, and was efficient and friendly looking after regular and new customers alike. Great coffee, immaculately clean with great service.Hi RebeccaRLV! We really appreciate your positive review about your recent visit - it's great to hear. Thank you so much again for your feedback. Coffee shop serving great food and drink in an authentic Italian ambiance.
My friend had an omelette with delicious prawns and salmon; I had a simple pasta in tomato sauce and we shared a tray of enormous olives. The food was fresh, piping hot and extremely tasty. The girls serving were friendly, helpful and working their socks off. So impressed that I posted a photo on Facebook. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

A little bit about us... Since its opening in May 2008, lovers of Italian food have made La Coppola the place to enjoy the best Italy can offer the discerning palate. Head Chef Jhun Mendoza and his team, conjure up dishes using only the finest and freshes
We haven't visited this restaurant since it moved to its new premises. We booked in for lunch on a Thursday, when we arrived we were surprised to find that the restaurant wasn't very busy as they had called us earlier in the morning to confirm the booking. I guess that is understandable on a Friday or Saturday night but seemed superfluous on this occasion. The interior has been expensively decorated which you may find charming or regard as over the top. We both chose pappardelle with smoked duck. The quantity was large, the quality disappointed. The service was efficient but the prices, in our opinion, are too high. There is no lunchtime offer which is common in other restaurants in the centre of the town.

Iâve lost track of the number of times Iâve eaten here. It is consistently brilliant. Emilio and the staff are very friendly, the service fantastic, and the food exceptional. The atmosphere is great. Couldnât recommend it highly enough. My Mum recommends the liver.
