There are several good seafood restaurants in Chioggia due to it's location and reputation but this is the best.Excellent food, well presented and great service. What more do you need?

Iâm usually tolerant of the occasional bad service, but our meal was spoiled by a single, but serious, problem: they misjudged the time needed to bake my sonâs fish, to such an extent that we had all finished before he was even served. That apart, the remainder of the meal was excellent. A delicious âamuse boucheâ; and we all had excellent fresh fish or pasta dishes, and good desserts. Overall, this place is a cut above the usual tourist fare.

Just flew into Italy for a 5 week vacation and found this gem of a restaurant.Literally translated,"Me Gusta" means with taste and we were not disappointed. With modern decor and lighting, this is a lively, busy eatery for couples, large groups and families alike:-lots of chatter, laughter and people obviously enjoying a night out. An extensive menu, with the focus on huge" themed"pizzas,e.g.a kiss and a butterfly. We shared a margherita for entree.Light, crisp dough with just enough topping;the Italians make great pizzas!Next, we had huge salads-very healthy, refreshing and Mediterranean. We drank mineral water,1/2 litre of vino rosso (red wine)and finally cappuccino:no room for sweets. We thoroughly recommend a meal here,as all this only cost us 35 euro.Wow!!The waiters were also very nice and attentive and gave us an English menu.Thank you.

Amazing self-service bar on the main street, just steps from the beach. Serves pizza, bruschettas, sandwiches and plenty of fresh fruit. There is a delicious Italian coffee, coctails or typical Spritz. I recommended to grab a snack or in the evening sit with friend over good food and beer. They are also very reasonable prices. At the end, be sure to clean up :)

I am afraid we expected so much more from a 2 star Michellin rated restaurant.Perhaps we are spoilt for choices in Australia but this didn't meet our expectations at all.Sure the fish is fresh - we are in Chioggia after all.Perhaps our choices weren't the best. The lack of vegetable offerings, despite querying what was accompanying the swordfish was laughable. If ordering the grilled seafood platter do inquire as to what will be served (particularly if you were keen to have a particular item) and not assume what is on the menu will appear on your plate. The service was amiable. On the night we visited only one person could speak English so we had to wait for her availability at times.

A very friendly waiter guided us through the available menu-stops and equipped us with a very fitting wine. The antipasto's , raw and cooked, were very nice, although the absolute freshness was missed with the raw Gamberi, the pasta was excellent and the turbot was very tasteful although either a bit overdone or not taken from unfenced territory, I couldn't decide, which means it was still ok.the final bill was ⬠130 for three people, which is normal for this part of the country but left a bit of aftertaste regarding the little mistakes mentioned above, may you should invite the waiter to show you the fish beforehand, like he did at the neighbour table, all in all recomendable!

The restaurant is really placed in a street far from the beaten path. The Aurora Hotel has a restaurant; the street windows are not really too easy to spot, not much of a light on the front. Anyway you are finally there; place is quite spacious and comfortable, staff is friendly and attentive. Menu features local seafood (always fresh) and pizza. Pizza is good but the spotlight is on seafood. Good choice, fresh, perfectly cooked. No hesitation, dive into the menu and get what you want; no problem. Wine list is available together with a couple of beers on tap. Price is coherent to quality although bill will not spoil your evening.

One of our best dining experiences over several years in the Chioggia/Sottomarina area. We (2 adults 2 kids under 13) opted for the mixed boiled fish starter which is pricey at â¬40 but well worth it. It comprises several beautifully prepared and flavoured dishes in imaginative dressings and sauces - calling it "mixed boiled fish" is underselling it big time. Our main courses were also very tasty and carefully prepared, but to be honest, not being the biggest eaters, we couldn't finish the seconds due to the extravagance of the delicious mixed starter. We accompanied the meal with a 1/2 carafe of prosecco (â¬6), 2 bottles of water and a coffee all of which totaled a somewhat eye watering â¬126 (no doubt in sympathy with the mouth watering food....). Anyway, reasonable value for a truly great meal. Why not 5 stars? Once again, it fails due to our eternal frustration with restaurants refusing to provide a written menu so guests have to be memory champions as their server reels of a list of 20 or more dishes and expects each guest to make an instant selection. Sheer madness and although we're fluent Italian speakers the frustration for foreign tourists can only be imagined. Personally, I like to peruse a menu for a good 5 minutes to balance options of primi, secondi, vini and also agree possible sharing options with my partner. This practice of confronting visitors with a torrent of choices and expecting an instant, informed and balanced choice may be great for short term profit (as clearly, you have no idea of the price of each dish) but I swear that the next time this happens and the restaurant refuse to provide a written, priced list with time for consideration I will simply walk out. Please can everyone else do the same and hopefully stamp out this ridiculous practice?

Lovely understated restaurant in a quiet road. We didn't book but got a table straightaway. The waiter was very good and the chef came to check on us a couple of times. The fish was the freshest and best cooked we've had inn a long time. I had the turbot as a starter and it was very simply cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband had gamberoni and they were amazing. Highly recommended.

Exquisit. Great variety of pizzas, with surprising ingredients. I ordered twice. Super clean and organized. Owner is present, and working. The girl at the counter was wery welcoming. I support this kind of bussinesses. Not to forget:they cut the slices in 4 smaller ones, for me and my wife. I really apreciated.
