It is very nice to be at the terrace of Hotel Restaurant Goldrainerhof on a warm summer evening. The staff is very friendly and works efficiently and the food is certainly okay. Maybe not outstanding, a bit basic would be the right description. And Goldrainerhof proofs that basic food can be tasty, like the Wiener schnitzel and the bisteca. Prices are in accordance with what you get and may expect.

Booked the restaurant and 2 rooms in July so we didn't need to drive after dinner. Everything was excellent - lovely clean and contemporary rooms (traditional but contemporary renovation), lovely welcome by the family and fabulous dinner. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which was excellent value given the quality. Breakfast the next morning was beautifully laid out and delicious. The best of the South Tyrol - looking forward to returning!!

Not easy to reach without a GPS but worth looking for. Gnocchi tirolesi and pappardelle were excellent, as was the carpaccio di cervo. The kaiserschmarren was to die for. Great service, very nice view over the valley, also some very good local wines. Listed in the Slow Food Guida alle osterie d'Italia, and for good reasons. Highly recommended.

There wasn't much open in Silandro so chose this place. Seemed to be advertising Italian, Chinese and pizza's.Quite basic plastic table cloth type of place. The pizza ovens had been turned off (9pm at night) so no pizza's.Seemed to have a good selection of Chinese food but very little else.Decidedly average food.

The waiter simply lied to us, we were looking actually for a chinese restaurant and he said Hasenwirt is the one, we asked for chinese menu, we got mexican one, but we decided to stay anyway, as we were very hungry already. The food we ordered wasnt tasty at all and most importantly not fresh! Totally not worth the price! The piece of shrimp I had was impossible to eat, I spit it out on my plate. Worst experience ever.

Well positioned next our accommodation this restaurant offers a range of traditional menu options, but for us it was the pizza that drew us there. Huge in size, traditionally made and delicious, it is also well priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Be aware that it is closed for dinner on Monday.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante consigliati da un altro ristoratore della zona (chiuso la sera) per 2 sere. Sala ristorante molto curata, personale cordiale e sorridente. Molto valido il menù sia carne che pesce ed un buon buffet di verdure. La prima sera abbiamo scelto buffet di verdure e un secondo di carne: 1 tris di filetti e 1 filetto di toro semplicemente favolosi, si tagliavano con una semplice posata. La seconda sera abbiamo voluto assaggiare piatti di pesce: 1 antipasto di salmone scottato e 1 antipasto di pesce misto molto buoni ed abbondanti. Come secondi piatti abbiamo preso 2 filetti di branzino, preparati e cucinati benissimo.....che dire, provate questa favolosa cucina, ancora complimenti.

The staff a very helpful but we needed to use our German phrases to be understood. The food is excellent. Situated on the busy main road, the restaurant is clearly popular with the locals. We had afternoon tea and returned for dinner.
