Modern and innovative cooking reflecting the tastes of the Mediterranean in sophisticated surroundings.
A delightful restaurant in the building of an old mill.On arrival, the staff were very welcoming into a lively modern decor lounge for a drink and review of the menu. At first glance the prices may seem a little expensive but not extortionate. The main restaurant is beautifully presented with a modern classical theme and the staff are very attentive but not over barring. In the tradition of their Italian heritage, they were very generous and passionate about the flair of the eating experience. Every dish was a visual work of art, at first it was difficult to actually start because the dishes looked so pretty. However, the visual beauty did not compare with the amazing flavours. Everything was perfectly balanced but it was like an explosion of flavour with each and every mouthful from the appetisers right through to dessert. The portions were generous and along with the extremely high quality of the food and service, I feel that they offered exceptional value for money.Hi Mr Watson, Thankyou for your kind words. The review has been passed onto the team and we are thrilled you enjoyed yourself! We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Went down for a meal early afternoon. The place was quite empty but I put that down to the time of day and schools not out at the time. Ordered our food and drinks. Drinks arrived promptly. Food freshly cooked and my chicken parmigiana looked and tasted delicious. Staff checked whether it was okay. Nice ambiance with music playing in the background but not too loud so as you couldn't hear yourself talking.

Terrible takeaway says authentic Italian stone bake pizza, more like a typical Asda pizza at silly prices, soggy and wet due to condensation from packaging. (Actually Asda stone bake pizza are a hell of a lot better) will never use again refused refund. Avoid at all costs.
Been a while since I'd eaten here so I was looking forward to seeing how it has evolved over the years. Lucio was always a great chef and his food didn't disappoint. My guests (family from Birmingham area) were very complimentary about the restaurant and food....to the point of breaking into song.My steak was as good as any eaten anywhere else so no complaints from me.The only (slight) criticism is that some of the young staff, although very pleasant and helpful, could do with a bit more training. The noise level was high, which we contributed do, but wasn't a huge issue as it does create atmosphere.
