Wir hatten von Freunden gehört, die hier essen waren und recht zufrieden. Ich kenne das kleine Lokal noch vom Vorbesitzer und war neugierig. Der Charme des kleinen Gastraums ist nach dem Umbau leider verloren gegangen. Die Küche, die hier in den Gastraum gesetzt wurde mit der kalten Rückwand eines Kühltresens und die Theke lassen dieses Restaurant eher als eine Art Schnellimbiss erscheinen. Schade. Wir bestellten einen gemischten Salat und vegetarische Pizza. Der Salat war okay. Von der Pizza hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Die verschiedenen Gemüse waren Spinat, Zwiebeln und Pilze. Das hat hat nicht überzeugt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden leider nicht erfüllt.

I find this place very cozy for having a coffee with a friend or business meeting. their deserts are very tasty and also their coffee wasn't bad at all. I can't complain for the service as was pretty good.

Don't call it an Italian, it is more an north-east-African-fusion-Italian-kebab store. Staff is very friendly and still the best price-quality rating ever. Nice outdoor seating and also indoors, the open pizza oven-kitchen is located on the outside and we had (once again) an excellent night. Don't expect cuisine, but also not kebab-store quality. This is a decent restaurant with and extensive menu, good pricing and more than decent portions.

Was soll man sagen, auÃer: Es hat geschmeckt! Die Pizzen sind grandios und die verwendeten Zutaten sind frisch. Der Boden der Pizza ist auf den Punkt gebacken! - Gerne wieder!

We were here with a large (>10) group seated on the terrace, the food was very good quality and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, to bad (:-)) the weather was so good we could sit outside as it is quite good inside also. We shared some starter plates which are good quality but costly for what you get. The main courses are decently priced, all in all not too bad and portion size more than good. Service was a bit slow, maybe due to the fact we were with such a large group. All in all we had a good experience. Italian taste in Germany.

I ate in this charming restaurant on 2 occasions during a recent trip. Opting to eat indoors, you have the advantage of witnessing the chef prepare the fayre. The waitresses recommended the special on both nights and both were excellent choices. We booked on the second night as it does become busy around 2100.

Montanaro, in the pedestrian area of Vegesack is a long existing institution for italian food in the northern part of Bremen. I just rediscovered the Pizza they offer while visiting a friend of mine and we had some take away Pizzas. A very flat and crispy pizza well seasoned and with a generous amount of topping is what you will get and you get it pretty fast. They do have a stone ofen and with the flat variety it only takes a couple of minutes before the pizza is ready to be enjoyed.The restaurant is only a couple of meters from the main bus station.

Ein schönes italienisches Restaurant, mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Leider saÃen wir Gestern mit der Familie im hinteren, dunklen Bereich. Die Geräuschkulisse War auch sehr hoch, man konnte sich schlecht unterhalten. Die Tische sind zu eng gestellt, wenig Platz teilweise. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind ok. , nur das Essen hat mir , und anderen von Uns, nicht sehr zugesagt. Es war leider für unsern Geschmack einiges zu stark gewürzt bzw. zuviel Pfeffer und Knoblauch in den Speisen. Es waren auch einige Zutaten nicht frisch zubereitet, eher Konviniensprodukte, z.B. die Pasta nicht selbstgemacht. Die kl. Brötchen mit Kräuterbutter waren lecker, die es auf's Haus gab. Das Getränk auch ( keine Ahnung was drin war)? Auch die Bruscetta" waren gut, aber zuwenig Tomate & zuviel Knoblauch. Die Portionen waren gross, aber nicht sehr kreativ. Die Toiletten sind renovierungsbedürftig, altes Inventar. Es gibt eine grosse Terrasse und einen Parkplatz vorm Haus, das finde ich vorteilhaft.

What a Gem. Been living in Schwanewede now 2 months and came here on a recommendation as it is close to my hotel. Place is wonderful, selection is perfect and prices to an American are awesome( dirt cheap) never a dissapointment when I come here which is about twice a week. Always start with the Carpachio then the skys the limit. Only thing missing for an Italian resteraunt is Marsala and Squid but considering this is an Italian resteraunt in Lower Saxony Germany it's forgivable
