Siamo un semplice negozio di pastafresca che dalle 12:15 alle 14:30 cuoce la pasta e la serve con i sughi del giorno. Si mangia a bancone oppure in take away. Il locale non fornisce il servizio toilette
This was a delight. If you speak Italian as badly as I do, then the owner compensates with excellent English and makes you feel at home.3 of us had different starters..solo good.Main plates were equally delightful. Our hard to please son declared the pasta the best he has ever had.Wonderful, and very filling. And then, stomachs very full, came dessert. 3 different ones tested and demolished. Again, excellent.A huge thank you for an experience we will enjoy for a long time.

An impromptu stop for lunch was a pleasant surprise. Although the menu was varied we went with one of the daily specials, pasta ragu. The ragu was flavourful, possibly because there was some ground liver in it, and the pasta was cooked just so. A salad, desserts of fresh fruit and creme brule with white chocolate, bottled water and coffees came to 34 euros in all. You can buy cheaper lunches in the area but none have been this flavourful. We will definitely return. Service in Italian or French.

I loved this restaurant. We had a fondue, and it was delicious. The wine list was also good. A must go restaurant in Valle d'Aosta

Imagine a large round of Vacherin Mont d'Or (raw milk cheese) sitting in a wooden case and heated in the oven to melting, served with mountain grown potatoes, a variety of cold cut prosciutto, salami, capocollo and pickled onions and gherkins. Now imagine a thick hamburger size bun with the top cut off and the bottom side hollowed out to hold an entire rondelle of squishy melted brie, and served with a side bowl of boiled mountain potatoes wrapped in bacon; pickled onions and gherkins on the side. Wash this down with a glass or two of local select wines and enjoy the ambience. By the way the mountain potatoes are grown locally within 1000 to 1800 metre altitude. The village of Ossein just above Aymavilles is renowned for its dark skinned and sweet tasting potatoes. Recommended by locals and after a couple visits I'd bet this is the local hotspot in Aymavilles. The place was hopping each evening we went. There are cute outdoor open ended cabins for groups of 8 or so as well as tables and chairs. Indoors the ground floor is a bustle of the bar, kitchen and half dozen tables with more tables below. Staff are friendly and you can make reservations. The menu is on the wall offering about a dozen or so 'aperitivo' food options. You can't miss the place. Just drive into Aymavilles and just before the first traffic circle across from the 'Municipio' (town hall) look for a place to park. It's obvious.

Three girls on tour wanting a taste of Italy and we got it. Good value, beautifully presented, three different dishes, some surprises for example the home made ravioli was served cold but was delicious, jolly and informative staff. Don't buy the house wine, choose a local quality wine to complete the experience.

This was a suggested restaurant from a local. We were pleasantly surprised, (weâve had lots of bad experiences with Italian restaurants) food was good, as was the service. We recommend you try the the goats cheese salad with walnuts and honey oil dressing. Also try the stewed beef with mashed potatoes and donât miss the dessert. Especially good for those who are not weight conscious. The cost was 35⬠a head for a light 3 course meal. Main course was 20⬠plus.Dear Frank, Thank you so much for your comment. We are glad to hear that you spent a nice evening with us, we work hard everyday to make our best and to improve. We hope you will come to visit us again during your next visit in Aosta Valley, Trattoria di Campagna e Staff.

Authentic place (It is a huge success with local people) with almost 100 types of pizzas in the menu. The local families dinner here mostly and therefore the place is not very quiet due a lot of kids. The pizza & deserts are superb!!!If you are pizza fan, you should visit this place definitely !Avalon is on my list of favorites pizza now, I would go there again.

Great location and very friendly service however the food was out of sync. I had a meat dish of gorgonzola wrapped in radicchio leaves rolled into what looked and tasted like a boiled grey thin beef cutlet surrounded by slimy porcini mushrooms. No thank you. That was the main course. The starter looked good on the menu but was essentially some overly thick cornmeal pancakes with various toppings like, blood sausage, and sweating lardo, sprinkled with icing sugar !There is an obvious attempt to rework traditional vallee d'asota foods into something else however it fails to do the business. Among our group of four nobody thought the food passed muster, so enjoy the many free home-made digestivos and enjoy the views. Bear in mind though that a lunch for four with starters, main course, bottle of proseco, half litre of house wine , a bottle of sparkling water and four coffees cost us 130 euros.

We dined here on our first night in Aosta. The food, wine and service was great. The menu varies to suit locally available fresh produce. Lovely central location and alfresco dining added to the overall experience. Prices very reasonable. Certainly worth a visit.
