The restaurant is located on the southern outskirts of the village on the main road that connects 15 Milis Bonarcado. Opened on 11 August 2004, the local, newly built, is characterized by its particular style by playing a glimpse of the distant past. It o

Niet zo vriendelijk onthaald, maar het was al laat. De pizza was gewoon lekker, maar de calzone viel niet mee, de vulling was waterig.

I was invited to join some locals at this tiny restaurant tucked away in the labyrinth of cobbled stones streets in Santu Lussurgiu. The place is primarily pizza however if you speak to the owner the day before you can order lamb. As an Australian I thought I knew lamb - but this dish, specially cooked for us by the owners wife was spectacular! I believe it is cooked in water ( I have limited Italian). It was accompanied with fresh vegetables bread and bowls of olive oil combined with salt and with pepper. It is a husband and wife team and if you can organise the lamb dish do so! (The pizzas oiled very tasty too!)

Piccolo agriturismo a conduzione familiare, siamo aperti tutto l'anno, prevalentemente lavoriamo su prenotazione. La nostra e una cucina tipica sarda con menu stagionale, pasta e ravioli fatti in casa, mentre il maialetto, del nostro allevamento viene cuc
I have not been able to return to this agriturismo recently, unfortunately, but I feel I have to share my knowledge and experience about it, because I really love it and appreciate the project and the efforts of the people who run it. Starting with the food, which is fantastic, you should expect to live an authentic Sardinian experience. This makes the difference, in times when it is so easy to find just-for-tourists fake agriturismi. From the different antipasti (salumi, verdure grigliate e condite, formaggio fuso, ...), to the fabulous primi (my favorite is ravioli di formaggio but great is also pasta with ragu') to the different secondi (I have often had agnello in umido and maialetto arrosto), everything is home-made by the family who run S Olostrighe. Local cheese and at the end a wonderful Seada (sort of big raviolo with cheese and honey on the top, difficult to find it so tasty) and digestivi (home-made liqueurs). The wine is local and good. Prices are very honest. The owners make you feel at home (it becomes a very nice experience particularly in low season, when there are not many people dining) and show great respect for the customers and the traditions. Also the place is unique. Up on the hill, past San Leonardo, when you enter the property you feel the peace and the beauty of the nature surrounding the restaurant. Unbeatable choice and refreshing experience in summer, when downhill on the beaches of the Sinis the temperature gets very hot. I hope I will have the opportunity to return soon. Saluti . (Diego responsabile pubbliche relazioni con la clientela)

Have been to this restaurant many times now, provides excellent quality food in an elegant environment with service that is professional, friendly but never over present. It is also excellent value for money. Not very easy to find this balance in this area of the island. It is hard to find a negative point. Sas Benas specialises in using ingredients from the Monti Ferru area, do not expect fish but the best meat you can find in Sardinia, Cas'e Zolu cheese and plenty of Fil'e Ferru (local grappa type drink).I normally plan a dinner (I prefer to be safe avoiding to drive and enjoy my dinner and drinks) bed and breakfast; Sas Benas has lovely rooms furnished with antiques and many of them have great views of the mountain. If you are travelling from the North (Alghero) of Sardinia to the South (Cagliari), Santulussurgiu is a great place to spend a night or more, surprisingly cool and green. Highly reccommended.

The room was full and most of the people were dressed casually, yet the atmosphere was quiet and somewhat elegant. The service was attentive, and the meal prepared by chef Sarah was very creative, well prepared, and playfully presented. Grazie!we success in our mission: a quiet and informal atmosphere, with a good meal :)Sara, Daniele and Silvia inside the kitchen, Marco and Angelo outside taking care of our guests, we all are glad you enjoyed it!alla prossima!Lucilla

Late evening visit for a couple of fish dishes. Really great mussels, awesome shrimp and some really excellent fries. Great location and on a clear night a brilliant sunset view. Drinks well priced but salad a little expensive for what it was. The only issue, which was no fault of the restaurant, was the mosquitoes! I'd take your own citronella candle if you're sitting on the terrace!Well worth a visit Thank you for your review, and for appreciating both our dishes and our structure. We are sorry that the mosquitoes have bothered you, we usually place several "zampironi" that most often manage to keep them away. See you soon with the hope of deserving the 5 star.
