Beautiful restaurant in small hamlet serving unfussy Umbrian food. Service is great and we sat out on terrace with stunning views of the countryside whilst we ate supper. Everything is cooked to order so doesn't arrive quickly, but this gives you more time to drink in the view and the excellent wine on offer - the house wines come by the jug are very good value for the price.

Very high quality at excelllent price,we tried the 25 euro menu and it was very good and even the quantity exceeded expectations. The service is very nice. They even have a good selection of teas and other hot drinks. Take into consideration that he place is open during the weekends only.

It really has to said this was an eating experience. Set in a beautiful small village the location is perfect. It was such a beautiful day we ate outside.Wonderful warm professional service was followed by the most exquisite food. It really could not be faulted.I ate the goose to start and then the duck. Perfect flavours along with perfect presentation made this a true culinary delight. The restaurant also has a very good wine list so whatever you choose to eat can be washed down with great bottle of wine.I finished off with the panna cotta which was a lovely lite refreshing end to what was a truly delicious meal.If in the region of Todi this restaurant is a must.

We have a house in Collazzone and this restaurant is situated a couple of 100 meters from our house. Thus, we eat at Al Leone frequently. However, we do not eat there out of convenience, we eat there out of preference. It is a great restaurant with the best pizza around. They have a pizza oven in the locale and serve great Italian pizza with crispy, thin crust. You want your own pizza-composition? No problem- they will accommodate you. The owners are very nice people and the service is polite and friendly. They also serve nice, grilled chicken and good pasta. If you are in Umbria, close to Perugia, pay them a visit. Prices are also reasonable.

We were staying in a tower below the town of gritting and dropped by for a late night dinner for four. Nice patio seating quick service and a diverse menu We were served quickly and everything was especially tasty. This was a great find in the middle of the hillside. Recommended find if you are looking for a place off the beaten path!

I wrote a lengthier review for La Casella as an accommodation if you want to look at that one. I will repeat my review of the restaurant here. The wait staff and family were very friendly and accommodating. Especially our waitress with the skeleton earrings...lol...she was super nice and spoke english. The food, in our group's opinion, was just okay. It was very good value...you get generous portions and the menu was very interesting with lots of choice. Probably the best that is available in the immediate area. But it wasn't wonderful, it was just okay. We expected richer, tastier food in Umbria, with stewed meats and rich game meats. We ate here three nights, and there were a few things we greatly enjoyed and others that were mediocre. I did have one dessert that the mother of the family made...it was a custard-like dessert that was out of this world delicious. The wine was included with our meal which added to the great value. The restaurant was very busy most nights. I found the meal a bit rushed...each course arrived immediately after the next...we didn't mind a bit of time in between but perhaps this is a cultural difference.

This restaurant/ hotel is in a lovely situation, snuggled in the sunflowers and vines in the hills near the medieval town of Todi. The rooms are furnished in very comfortable Umbrian style, and there are 2 large apartments, one with an incredible private terrace. This is Umbrian cuisine with a twist, and very much more sophisticated than many restaurants around Todi. In summer, after an afternoon around the pool, a cocktail or delicious glass of local wine, dinner is served, normally outside on the lovey terrace. There is no menu, just course after course of delicious imaginative seasonal food. If you are staying for a night or two, it feels very much like being a guest in a friends lovely house. From the hotel one can visit many places easily, Florence, Rome, Arrezzo. But be brave and stay local, visit the strada del olio e vini, very clos by, and sample some amazing wines. Montecastelo Di Vibio, a gorgeous little hill town with the smallest theatre in the world, heaven to hear a recital . Visit Todi, a gem of a medieval beauty, or Deruta, world famous for hand painted ceramics that dazzle.Or how about Perugia,40minutes drive, for the most amazing sunday passeggiata in Umbria? You will never be bored I promise, and you will eat like a king/queen!

A wonderful experience in terms of authentic Umbrian food, with pleasant decor and friendly service. Most everything served here, from the meats and bread, to wine and after dinner liqueurs, is home made. This restaurant is a must stop in my opinion for a real Umbrian experience.

The Relais Todini is the cornerstone of the beautiful panoramic restaurant overlooking Todi and the surrounding countryside, but the gastronomic offer and the concept of catering are completely renewed. Not only great food, this is the new philosophy of L
This was perfectly acceptable but not a destination restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited, and while they try hard the whole establishment seems understaffed
