Trattoria Superga is simple and welcoming. It proposes traditional Piedmontese dishes in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere
Trattoria Superga, right below the Basilica of Superga at the junction was a delightful and delicious village co-op. The tiny room was full on a Monday night; reservations appear mandatory. The service was courteous and efficient. The 'antipasti caldo' tasting was interesting and tasty indeed. The 'primi piatti' list was mouth-watering, and the chosen three (agnolotti with sage, tagliolini with truffles and cream, and risotto with gorgonzola and nuts) were all excellent. The house Barbera was unusually good.We left the local clientele feeling content and happy.

Pizzeria da Benito, synonymous of pizza excellence. Only genuine product, for best pizza, unmistakably tasty.
We actually went in here before it opened but the staff were very welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had anti-pasti followed by pizzas and a really good bottle of wine. The staff could not have been more helpful and were anxious to practice their English!!

Interesting place. Far from the city centre and full of locals. Ecclectic menu, but the huge pizzas and cold beer were great and fairly priced. Cross between a pub, rock bar and a local pizzeria. Dark and funky atomosphere with Springsteen, U2, Seger, Stones, etc, playing loudly in the background. Regulars ordered pizzas or burger and fries. Refreshing, worhwhile experience.

Il locale è bello e accogliente, un po' rustico e un po' moderno, ben curato. Grande varietà di ottime birre, panini sempre ottimi e strepitosi.

I have been taken here by a friend. Actually is words have been " I am gonna took you to place where everything is excellent" so.. How to say no? Arriving by car, the location is not one of the best and the exterior look is just " a normal restaurant of an Hote owned by family"Just enter, you will immediately "smell" that is a special place. Warm interior and large table, are the perfect backstage of the culinary opera that, will come on you table. The owner, a lady, will tell you as in a tale the menu, always different and particular but, always prepared with the best special and particular ingredient. A nice canteen of wine (but not extraordinary) is available. Dessert are Super. Vote 10

After many recommendations to visit this restaurant a few miles outside of Turin, we were not disappointed. Fantastic food, great staff and Great Wine. Thanks to Rene for the friendly welcome!

Sconsigliato.

It's hard to find and may not be the most attractive place you've visited but it is full of locals and the food is glorious. Not haute cuisine but good honest piedmont food. There is no equivalent in England, except pub grub, which is a variable commodity. Been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed it although was told off by "The Chief" for drinking water. Only for washing, drink wine!

On the Superga hill a short walk from the Basilica of Superga is the restaurant of the Bel Deuit. Here, in a rustic setting but cared for, surrounded by enchanting views of the surrounding hills you have a way to enjoy the traditional cuisine of Piedmont,
Ate here w/ family friends on a cloudy day so we had no view of the city as was promised. The service was friendly and prompt. We were treated to an assortment of typical dishes w/ a modern twist. All straight-forward, simple and excellent. Appetizers included a walnut-gorgonzola mouse, a thistle treat under melted cheese (think artichoke), bell peppers w/ anchovies (not quite bagna cauda because no garlic), and risotto w/ mushrooms. The pasta made w/ wine were a little dry. The rabbit and fritto misto were out of this world. Not the fritto misto of Venice - here it includes artichokes, apples and other treats on a savory to sweet scale. Superb wine too - had some real treats from Barbaresco. And, the grissini are not to be missed for those who only get those crappy ones in plastic wrap. A truly wonderful experience.

Siamo stati in questo locale fuori Torino per una cena in compagnia di amici. Abbiamo ordinato un gorgonauta, con carne, gorgonzola, cipolle e una senape al miele emozionante, e un big black angus, delizioso. Prezzo onesto e personale giovane super gentile e cordiale. Veramente una scoperta piacevole.
