Our little ones love pizza. This place was perfect. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The smells from the restaurant were incredible. We ordered pizza and it came out hot and delicious. They offer other items, for example pasta and antipasti platters. Iâm glad we decided to stop in.

Nonna at El Mercado provides our Italian classic dishes, abundant with fresh vegetables, assorted cheeses, extra virgin olive oil and "live" homemade pasta. The menu includes a selection of dishes ranging from antipasti, soups and fresh pasta and risotto.
Stumbled upon this place by mistake just driving around and boy we got excited!Street parking is plenty available here as well as I think I saw a paid lot around the area as well. The place is nice and the atmosphere is romantic as well as rustic as the name of the restaurant states. I loved the fact that the wait staff worked together I felt like all wait staff of the restaurant took care of us, I loved the team work they had going on. The wait staff was super wise on the menu and helped us to have the perfect meal. COMPLEMENTARY BREAD- I always appreciate the touch for sure since I am a carb lover I got happy when we got the bread.PROCIUTTO COTTO- we got a appetizer of prosciutto cottonmouths, very interesting cut of meat but none the less very deliciousSEAFOOD LINGUINI IN SQUID INK- I must say that this was the plate I was the most excited about, however I was a bit disappointed, I am a creamy sauce lover, when I saw the squid ink I could actually picture this dark and creamy sauce, the reality was a watery and sad sauce with a black pasta and some sea food on top. I did not like the taste of any of it, it was the one thing I came in to eat and the most disappointing thing we had.MUSHROOM RAVIOLI- my bf got the mushroom ravioli it also had dates and some nuts. the pasta saved our lives. it was amazing. I gave up on the sea food and ink squid and took on this plate, this one I do recommend so make sure to order this plate.so avoiding the sea food ink pasta the experience is much better. everything here was great from the place atmosphere to the meals (again besides the ink pasta) we loved everything.I will probably come back to try other stuff

Due to illness in our family we have not been able to do our regular dining visits in San Juan. Instead, we are supplementing our dining needs with either take outs or home deliveries. Up to this point we had great dining experiences delivered at home. Then came this unexpected instance where we opted to get some food from Muzzarella. As usual my wife ordered her beloved Rissoto, while I ordered a churrasco. As I opened the meals I couldn't believe my eyes were watching this simplest presentation you will ever see in a plate. Just a piece of meat by itself. They won't even sent chimichurri sauce with it. Yes you heard right. In case you're wondering, the Rissoto wasn't anything like the one we had at their place either. And yes, we visit the place regularly.

Third time here and this experience was totally different. The server Paula was very accommodating. Food came cold twice, management was very loud , condescending and seemed like they were treating their work place like their own social club. Saw personnel making out in the premises. Not what we expected when 5 minutes away There are more than 5 similar restaurants with higher standards (food and service). Hope this is a fluke specially when a lot of tourists come to this place as a âsafeâ bet. Not our best representation as a high end hotel restaurant.
