Came over to Italy to visit Padre pio and a friend invited us for a meal in this restaurant. I'm telling you the cuisine is absolutely exquisite never ate a pizza that good. The place is stunning, you can eat by the pool while enjoying a fantastic view of the tavoliere delle puglia. We will certainly be back.

Called into this restaurant at almost 3.00 pm after driving over 200 miles that day. Even though it was nearly their closing time we were given a table and were not rushed in any was. The food was excellent as was the service. Will be returning very soon.

Located in the old town centre of San Giovanni Rotondo, this small pretty restaurant can offer its guests excellent dishes prepared with local products (first courses, different types of meat, vegetables, sausages, cheeses, dairy products and desserts) without ignoring a kind welcome and an efficiency service. Special attention is also directed to the wines list with national and regional labels and the beers list which includes national and foreign craft beers.

We stayed at San Giovanni Rotondo for a few days and came here twice. First night we went there, we were the only table, but don't be fooled, the food was amazing! The portions of the starters were almost like a platter all cooked and seasoned to perfection. Mains and deserts also right up there. Definitely would recommend if you're staying at San Giovanni Rotondo.

It is capatious so 9 of us had no problem finding a common table. Pizas were very tatsy and at very reasonanle prices. The choice of beers was great! The music was also enjoyable.

Had dinner a couple of times here. It was excellent food & service! Started with appetizer to main dish that all surprised us that those foods came from the kitchen in a small hotel (Hotel Leon). One of the servers looked familiar & happened to be one of the ownerâs sons. He happened to be the hotel shuttle driver one time during our stay that took me & my friend to the Sanctuary of Padre Pio. Fortunately he was appropriately dressed as server during our dining experience:). Hotel Leon is family-owned & good to see family memebers pitching in to run their business.I thank you in the name of all the staff of the Hotel Leon, our family is always present to satisfy our guests. Unrivalled flavor and atmosphere! Quite simply, the best pizza I've ever tasted. It was wonderful meeting the chef and talking about his many experiences and prestigious accomplishments (#15 pizzeria worldwide, among others). I could not have left their cozy, friendly environment more content. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys any fashion of this beautiful Italian (pizza) pie.

While traveling on a Church pilgrimage from the USA with 30 people we were looking for an authentic Italian meal. Our bus driver took us here and we were all delighted! The food and wine was delicious & plentiful, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was outstanding!!!
