We had long been searching for a good little Italian restaurant in Motril and finally found Marelli which is a well kept secret by those who live locally judging by how busy it is. Very nice décor, lovely tapas and great service make it an altogether good experience. We had tapas one evening and then went back a couple of times to enjoy a shared pizza at the bar with wine but each time it was full so clearly you need to make a reservation for the bar area! We'll do that next time. We did, however, eat in the restaurant section which was full shortly after we arrived. The pizzas were very good and wine very good and reasonably priced as you would expect. We have found a little place that is likely to become quite a favourite during the cooler months anyway as not sure how this would work in the summertime.

Where to eat Seafood food in Salobrena: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Very good quality - prize. Hard to find a site after 21:00. They are not the fastest in serving but the wait is worthy.

Living in Granada and being spoiled for choice when it came to tapas we decided to have something safe so unanimously (myself, my better half and 2 children) we chose Italian and this place had decent reviews. Service was very good I cannot fault it in anyway. My eldest case prawn pasta, my wife hawaii pizza (pineapple ham, not sure if it was called Hawaii on the menu - but you know what i mean). I chose the Daviola (without anchoas). Firstly the prawn pasta that my daughter had was very nice (and was the reason for 2 not 1 or 2 stars). When I am reviewing something that I don't particularly like I'll often say it was well cooked blah blah blah but just not to my taste these pizzas (my pizza) went beyond that, the base was very thin they put a tomato based followed by chorizo cheese and more chorizo. The problem was when cooking so much oil came out of the chorizo it completely destroyed the base and the cheese looked to have curdled it was a lumpy soggy mess. My wifes pizza wasn't much better, neither myself not the children could eat a single piece and I have never been known to waste pizza ever! OK The pasta was good, service excellent, pizzas forget! hence 3 stars maybe I was unlucky and they were having a bad pizza day.

We really wanted to like this restaurant but ultimately walked away disappointed. Service was very friendly. But the food was a letdown. We know itâs difficult to replicate authentic Italian food when outside of Italy. What we ordered here clearly fell short. The spaghetti putanesca was not really cooked al dente even though this was specifically requested when ordering. The sauce of olive oil with chopped black olives was very good and the dish was spicy as advertised. While olive oil was brought to the table when we first sat down (good sign), we had to ask for the parmesan cheese after the spaghetti was served (bad sign). We didnât get any bread with our meal either (another bad sign). We did get a free tapas of potatoes and cabbage after ordering. While not Italian, it was tasty and appreciated. It could have been a mini-bruschetta. My wifeâs lasagna was not very good at all. Looking at it, it was hard to even tell what it was. Also, her dish didnât come out until I was finished eating my spaghetti (and we were the only ones in the restaurant). We didnât try the pizza which was probably a mistake since it gets good reviews. The restaurant is nicely located on a quiet pedestrian street and features a terrace covered in vines filled with chirping birds.

Ven a PizzerÃa PASTA Y Spritz en la playa de Salobreña. Podrás degustar nuestras sabrosas pizzas y platos de pasta sentado en primera linea del mar.
After several nights of seafood, we were looking for something different. The restaurant is located across the street from the beach, in a group of restaurants. They have both indoor and outdoor seating; we sat outside. The owner was just incredible; she seated us before the restaurant opened and was so warm and welcoming. Both she and her husband are Italian and they made some great food!! We shared a mixed salad, which reminded us of the salads we had in Italy. My husband had pizza and I had spagetti with fongole. The pizza was some of the best we've had in Spain and the spagetti brought me back to Venice. The owner brought us limoncello and we talked with her for a while about life. A lovely evening at a reasonable price in a remarkable setting.
