Been stopping in for 40 years whenever in Salisbury. Grab a fried dough and chill out to people watch or sit on the beach. Ozzie's is always good, never undercooked, and very generous in the portions
Okay so not my favorite, but it's a decent value pizza for families for sure. The red sauce is just too sweet tasting for my preference...others may love that though. Toppings are fresh and abundant ...very important. Gluten free crust is a tad bit heavy and could use some salt perhaps...slightly bland. I have enjoyed put experience and it's nice to support a family owned and operated establishment. Keep up the good effort.

Stopped in for dinner with friends, on a whim. The dining area & bar have an old house feel - not kitschy like your grandmother's "old", but colonial old. Perfect for Newburyport. The menu looked great, and our waitress offered wine suggestions, based on our dinner choices. All good!Unfortunately, the meals were fairly bland. Two of us ordered the bolognese sauce over macaroni, at the waitress' recommendation. She said it was a house specialty. It sorely needed some salt & pepper, and was fairly tasteless. Our third dining partner ordered the lasagna, and he proclaimed it among the best he's had. Go figure. So, maybe it was an off night in the kitchen? Maybe there are highs and lows? I'd give it another try, if only to sit at the cozy bar with wine & apps.

If you are ever at Salisbury Beach, you must stop here for a slice or two.....or three. It is old school pizza slices from back in the day. It is a simple place, but the pizza is so delicious. Sprinkle a little garlic powder, hot flakes and some Italian seasoning to give it an extra flavor explosion. I usually get a box or half box to take home. It is the perfect slice for walking around Salisbury and lounging by the beach. If you've never been here, then do yourself a favor and go check them out. =)

We stumbled onto this restaurant after a day at the nearby Salisbury beach. And what a find! Everyone at our table was amazed at the food we got. Great portions, freshly-made everything...the chicken piccata I had was, with no exaggeration, the best I've ever had. My daughter's lasagna was also amazing. We all ended up tasting each other's food since it was all so good. Right beside arcades, crappy hot dogs, and similar 'beach' food, there's a gem of a restaurant.

Called for a 7:00 reservation. "Ok, no problem ". Arrive at 6:45. Very busy. We were seated at 7:50. Reservations meant nothing. They seated people as they arrived. The meal was not up to their standards. The veal piccata was so lemony, it detracted from the other flavors of the dish. No tiramisu on the menu. Drink prices were high. A red wine and mixed drink was over $ 25 with tip. Service was slow with little follow up. Veal saltimboca was delicious, as was the stuffed mushrooms. I noticed that the portion sizes were smaller. All in all will think twice before going again.

Full Service Family Italian Restaurant with Full Bar, Take Out, Grab and Go, Italian Deli and Marketplace, Party Trays for all occasions. Established on 1995.
My husband and I loved the casual atmosphere of Giuseppe's. You can purchase Italian staples and fresh/frozen meals in one portion of the building, there's a take-out counter in the center, and the other side is the dining. We started with garlic bread as an appetizer - not our favorite - the bread was a little too flimsy and not garlic-y enough. My husband had the lasagna which he really enjoyed and I had porcini & portabella ravioli which was delicious but had a little too much sauce in my opinion. Our favorite was actually the dessert! The hazelnut gelato was served like a little parfait and was tasty and we had some of the most amazing carrot cake we've ever tasted! Everyone was really friendly and it was obvious that it's a local favorite. We arrived early on a Friday night and thought it wouldn't be busy yet but we still had to wait just a bit, so plan ahead if you don't like to stand in line (and parking is a little tight). We thought the pricing was slightly high but after eating at other places in the area it was comparable.

Ate with a large group of 8 and was welcomed to the table earlier than expected. A lively setting with some energy, yet our table was intimate and quiet. Caesar Salad was very large and able to share, although very little dressing so I had to ask for more. All enjoyed their meals, although overall food was slightly above average. As it is convenient to where our daughter lives we will probably go back.
