Il Sorriso is the perfect place to casually enjoy friends and family over great food and wine, with excellent service, the way it used to be at grandmaâs house. We offer a full menu that features authentic flavours. Our foods are always made fresh to order
Had a party of 18 here for a birthday celebration on a saturday night. Restaurant was set up lovely - one long table. Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble (forgot the birthday cake but they pulled a few candled tiramusu's out of the bag!).Food was fabulous - everyone was happy and bill was reasonable. Thanks Il Sorriso :-)

We are family run business. All our foods and sauces are home-made. We have a large selection of gluten/wheat free products available. Our menu includes chargrilled chicken, fish and steaks. Our home-made pastas and pizzas are a must have for all.A warm a
We went as a family to pasta Costello's. While the taste of the food was lovely the portion sizes of the pastas are way too big and way too over priced. When I received the bill I nearly had a heart attack and it was down to the pricing of the food. Even with us taking the "special offers" the bill was unexpected. And even tho the food tastes nice the price is not worth the visit and we will not be going back. This wasn't our first time there. But it has been a while. All of the party agreed that they don't remember the prices being so high

Tried this place on Saturday night. The venue is a very small so booking is probably necessary. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and even though it's tiny we had a table that was quite comfortable. The proximity of the next table wasn't off putting despite the size. The only negative was the table location which was by the door and the breeze from the opening door was cutting. The food was very good we got the mozzarella wrapped in Parma ham to start. It was really good, even though it comes with rocket which I dislike. But the mix with the balsamic vinegar was lovely. For mains we got the carbonara and the bolenese. These were lovely. My girlfriend is a coeliac and could get gluten free pasta which is great. I tried the carbonara and couldn't tell it was gluten free pasta. The bolognase was lovely. The only complaint was probably that there wasn't a little more of it. For dessert we got vanilla ice cream and the cannelloni special. Both were very good. All this came to around 60 with a drink and a coffee. Nice to have a good gluten free Italian option in the area.

Myself & my husband had another fantastic meal here last night .The food is just gorgeous. The chef/owner cooks everything from scratch nothing is prepared. This cosy restaurant only fits 20 people which make the ambiance just perfect. As a Skerries resident I want to let the general public know you will find it hard to get another restaurant like this one any where. Unfortunately it only open on a Friday & Saturday night for dinner but opens all week except Tuesday for breakfast & luches.

VERY professionally run. The manager/waiter we interacted with worked hard to earn our business, even before we entered the restaurant. Not my favorite meal in Ireland but it was quite obvious that the staff and kitchen work very hard, competing with a host of other Malahide offerings. The entrees here were good although some recipes seemed less Italian/mediterranean than others... but I'm good with that. When you're part of a group, tastes will inevitably vary. Their menu and specials attempt to offer something for everyone. I very much admire the effort put forth by this establishment.
