We visited Cascina Faletta as part of a group. Great facilities, tremendous views. We had an all risotto lunch, three different types accompanied by several wines. All was very good.Great views from our out door table, very very good service and food was a delight, highly recommend. Very clean WC's.Thanks for have been here to enjoy our food.You were a beautiful group. Enjoy your last days in Italy.Have a nice day.Faletta's staff

Vogliamo sperare che le oltre due ore dâattesa per due portate,siano una casualità , perché il cibo in questo ristorante merita sicuramente una valutazione positiva, cucina tipica monferrina,ben fatta: antipasti misti gradevoli, ottima la battuta di fassona, bene anche i primi, gnocchi al castelmagno, tagliatelle con funghi e gli agnolotti. Ottimi pure coniglio, asino e funghi fritti.Buono pure il vino ( Arneis ), anche se le bottiglie non si portano al tavolo già stappate....Conto corretto

This restaurant in the small village of Treville is just wonderful. We were a very large group (about 30), something which would have been a challenge even for a large restaurant. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. And as a large group of foreigner invading their wonderful little restaurant, they made us feel very welcome indeed. And to complete the excellent food, the restaurant has stunning views of the surrounding countryside. A must if you are staying at Villa Mimma next door and definitely worth the journey if you are staying elsewhere.

We had an amazing dinner! Steve (Stefano) welcomed us like we were family and then food started rolling in. Thereâs was no menu so antipasti and wonderful Prosecco started us off. My girlfriend is vegetarian so the menu was adjusted for her. We had so much great food that was so fresh and from the farm! I really hope that we get the chance to come back some day!If you have the chance, go!

This is one of those places that really deserves a visit when it comes to visit Piedmont region. The food was just incredibly delicious, with an amazing meet tartare (called "Tris di carne" in italian) as starter and home made "pasta" like ravioli or "agnolotti" on top of the list.The service incredibly attentive, every little detail was taken care of and the price was fair. Really good value for money. Don't forget to combine traditional dishes with a very good red wine Piedmont can offer, like Nebbiolo or Barolo. The surrounding countryside is very interesting with gentle hills and perfect for a walk around especially after lunch.We'll be back!!

Sunday lunch with an elegant aristocratic lady from Vercelli. Everything simply wonderful, place owners staff and of course food. We had fantastic Salmerini in carpione (the ginger beer is a secret ingredient) for a start, my friend Tagliolini al ragout di coniglio and myself Arrosto della vena in salsa al tartufo tender as butter. Very generous portions very fairly priced. Bravo Tommaso and Paola, you merit three stars or maybe more !!!

La vera trattoria con menu degustazione. Dallâesterno è una villetta, lâimpressione è quella di mangiare in famiglia. Il menu, molto generoso nelle quantità , è tutto di ottima qualità . E il conto è veramente più che onesto. Dopo tanti antipasti e il primo, eravamo sazi e non abbiamo assaggiato i secondi, ma ci è rimasta la voglia di tornare per gustare anche quelli. Buona lâofferta dei vini. Molto cortese lâaccoglienza e il servizio della signora che ci ha coccolato per tutto il pranzo.

Babette it is a charming restuarant with a couples of rooms in a wonderful location between wineyards. We had a wonderful lunch at Ferragosto sitting outside in the garden. The food was excellent, piedmontese cuisine but with an innovative touch. Here it is well know for champagne and indeed we had a wonderful bottle from a small producer and then an excellent Grignolino Superiore (local wine of this part of Monferrato). The owner is kind and friendly, good service so if you are closed to Casal Monferrato I really this charming restaurant.

A relatively simple menu and familiar service, very good, simply prepared dishes still well balanced and cared for in flavours and seasonings. We went for the standard degustation menu, as plentiful as others reported if we as Italians, trained in multi-course meals since early age, felt comfortable. As we are well into our middle age, the "tasting" of first courses being a bit less abundant than a full dish was a blessing in disguise: it let us come to the dessert in good enough shape to enjoy it fully. Price was very good, especially considering water and wine are included and the manager even chided us for drinking too much water and too litte, good, red wine.We especially enjoyed the "farm to fork" (zero-km-distance) platter of goat cheeses and sausages, from the shop across the street, and the two first courses: fettuccine broad egg noodles in rabbit meat sauce and agnolotti (small beef-filled ravioli). One of the second courses, grilled steak "tagliata" (sliced) was good but less distinguished than the rest, if the grilled vegetables on the side were fresh and very tasty. Desserts were top: we had hand-made cream ice cream affogato (drowned, soaked) in "bicierin" (a sweet coffee laced with chocolate and liquor), tangerine sorbet and a cream pudding (think of crème caramel without the caramel) flavoured with local typical "crumiri" biscuits. Worth the detour, by all means

A wine-grower and a signora (his mama, I guess) run this cantina (wine cellar). Marco (the wine-grower) lives in 4th generation on this property. We booked a wine-tasting together with our hotel ("I Castagnoni" in Rosignano Monferrato). Mama (very lovely person) served antipasti and different wines. Everything was very delicious and we felt like being at the house of our grandmother, very comfortable.After the tasting, Marco showed us the cantina, including the ancient and the current facilities for producing wine. I would completely recommend this trip.
