We first visited this causy place in September last year to become regular visitors. We are not what people might call easy customers, some say that we live to eat and not the opposite!! We are in fact very critical when it comes to food and drink. I can only say that we have never been disappointed. The place is very clean, the welcome is genuine, all the food is freshly prepared by Mama in the kitchen where Papa, Son and his fiancé attend to the customers. The whole restaurant is simply spotless. Great value for money. We did enjoy celebrate with this lovely family the one year anniversary of the opening of the restaurant. The whole atmosphere was family like; relaxed, warms and welcoming.

We ordered Pizza for home delivery. The advertised delievery time was quite accurate. The Pizza was hot, fresh and tasty. The menu selection is extensive. We gave a big tip and didn´t even get a thank you, but otherwise the delivery driver operated professionally & friendly.

This is the restaurant of the Hotel Garibaldi which has now been sub-let out.Beautiful decorExcellent foodSuper service, good EnglishBoth A la Carte, and special menu - it was Aspargus season so a lot of dishes using it.I eat there three nights and was never disappointed.It is not cheap by everyday prices, around £30 with no alchol,But the food is fresh, very tasty and enjoyable - not a place to worry about your waist line!!!well worth a visit if in this area

Nicht weit von der S-Bahn Station der Linie 1. Wenn ich vom Airport nach Hause komme von einer Reise suche ich dieses Lokal eigentlich sehr oft auf. EDera Wirt ist sehr freundlich und die Speisen, besonders Fisch sind super. Bin jetzt schon öftres da gewesen und wurde nie enttäuscht

Small family get-together - for a birthday treat, Saturday evening 6pm place was empty, table for four of course not a problem. Over the last years we've been there a few times, sometimes with up to 12 persons. To toast the brother-in-law's birthday we started off with four glasses of Champagne. Two of us ordered ' Bistecca ai Porcini ' - Argentinian rumpsteak with a mushroom sauce , small roast potatoes and a side salad, Penne al Forno and one Tagliatelle ai Porcini - cocktail tomatoes with garlic and mushrooms. While we were waiting we ordered a round of wheat beers. By 7pm the place was three quarters full. Our food arrived after about 30mins, was certainly worth waiting for, the steaks were done medium to well done and so tasty and the roast potatoes flavoured with thyme - a treat!. The other two pasta dishes were both well seasoned and large enough that there was the chance of taking two ' doggie bags ' home. The evening was very relaxing , staff pleasant and friendly and the quality food great value for money. It won't be our last visit.

Our waitress was awesome, so friendly and good with our young kids. The entire team is Italian which gives it a very authentic feel. We sat on the veranda overlooking the street. The beer was cold and the service was efficient. Our boys enjoyed the margarita pizza and the spaghetti carbonara. The adults enjoyed the ox liver, salmon pasta, and the arrabiata. Ice cream for dessert was good too. A lovely lunch.Thank you very much

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Great food and great service. Outside there is a very nice terrace, but we went inside. Very sophisticated menu with a lot of options. I took the lamb which seems to be their specialty. And indeed it was great. Although we went on a regular day during the week the house was full so I think this restaurant is really highly appreciated. And rightly so. It was a very enjoyable evening with great food and wine. We even got a free grappa with our coffee at the very end of the evening.

as residents of rödermark one is not realy spoiled with a wide choice of good restaurants,but frankfurt ,the rheingau and aschaffenburg are near by.however la scala offers a pleasant ambiente,not overstyled.service is very good and the food is more or less the standard repertoire of an german italien restaurant .but what they do is of very good quality and well presented.prices are fair.

Wir haben das Tie-Break auf Empfehlung besucht und waren vom Essen und Service angetan. Schöne Auswahl an Speisen auf der Tageskarte, sowie der "Normalen" Karte,da ist für Jeden etwas dabei. Wir hatten Pulposalat und Scampi in Knobisauce als Vorspeisen und Thunfischsteak mit Spargel, sowie Wolfsbarsch vom Grill...alles sehrlecker und nahezu perfekt zubereitet...und das zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen.Also wir werden jetzt öfter mal hier vorbeischauen.

First time visit to 'Romana' with my brother-in-law , Tues evening and we were asked if we'd made a reservation! It was just before 7pm the place was pretty empty but a few tables were already reserved inside and also out on the terrace, we had no problem getting a table for two. A friendly waiter took our drinks order and shortly afterwards our dinner order e.g. 2 x rump steak with roasted sliced potatoes with a side salad. The steaks were done to a treat, I found out from the ' head waiter ' that the chef gets his meat from South Africa. Dessert was a portion of traditional Tiramisu with two scoops of vanilla ice - very tasty. The Italian speaking waiters were all very polite and friendly , service without any stress, comfortable atmosphere, certainly worth a second visit in the near future.
