In a city of great pizza, itâs hard to stand out. New Pizza Pizzeria has been in business for over 60 years and is an old time favorite with great pizza. They serve the crust crispy with fresh sauce and cheese. Itâs perfect.

First, I am compelled to critique the above review as I feel it is my civic duty. I think it is disgusting how some people can throw around such derogatory terms like "racist" without any evidence. I truly wonder if those looking to be offended at every turn truly realize that when they see someone that is not their own skin tone and assume that they are racist because they had an allegedly poor experience -- that makes THEM the racist... Second, Vetro is owned by Italians. I think people would do better to learn American history and recognize how Italians were oppressed when they came to this country as well. One of the largest public lynchings in American history was of Italian Americans. Yet, they're going to be prejudice of Indian people or create a business that is "racist"? Use your head. Third, I have been to Vetro probably close to 60 times. There is always a very diverse group of people at the restaurant and just the other day we joined tables with a fabulous black family that were regulars and had children around the same age as ours. We had a BALL. Amazing how fun people can have when they aren't looking for racism everywhere....Fourth, I have had or been to birthday parties here, baby showers here, breakfast with Santa here.. The list goes on. The staff is always super professional and food never disappoints. Ever. If I was ever in a poor sitting area or asked for anything, they always willingly complied. Prices aren't cheap but they aren't exactly hefty either yet the portions are fair and there's always some for leftovers the next day! Anyway, I figured I would give my two cents since I love this place and I cannot stand when others are so quick to judge. I don't think they realize how their words can have a huge effect on someone's business and livelihood. People would do better to think more rationally before jumping online with wild accusations and insults. The world would be a much better and less "racist" place.

We ordered take out from our nearby B & B, as Boardwalk Pizzeria came highly recommended. Were we ever happy with our decision to call; what a delicious supper we enjoyed! The food arrived hot, with a smiling and appreciative delivery person; after which we truly thought our business really meant something special to these folks. When back in Far Rockaway, we'll be sure to revisit these folks, this time in person, as we'd really like to meet them. Thanks Boardwalk Pizzeria, for a job well done and we'll be telling everyone about you all!

From the moment one reaches the front door of Michael's of Brooklyn, top-of-the-line service is apparent, and family atmosphere dominates. There are so few restaurants in this part of Brooklyn that equal the finer Manhattan traditional favorites. Michaels is the exception. Whether meat or fish, the preparation is superb. I make a point of ordering the Rack of lamb w/roasted garlic every other visit. The Italian sauces (now sold in supermarkets) set the standard for natural ingredients the home-made way. Next time you see a jar, read the label. While it may seem a little pricey to some, it's not a fast food chain, it's the real thing, and in my opinion, worth it.

We usually order the ravioli. Cheese is our favorite. Portions are wonderful tasting and very filling. Salads are fresh and crispy and nice sized. Dressings are fresh tasting. Homemade bread is hearty and delicious. Staff is most friendly and attentive. Prices are very good. Going to try their cauliflower crust pizza next time. This place is so clean and kept one would think it is brand new but it is a well established place. When he can, the chef comes out front and checks on every table. Casual dress. This is a 5 STAR Restaurant

This family -owned and operated restaurant is located in a small business district in the Belle Harbor section of the Rockaways, between Jamaica Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Its decor is Italian-inspired casual, and it is family-friendly too. Its a great place for pizza! and New Yorkers know pizza. Reasonably priced, too!

Love the place, love the food. Prices have not changed in years, food consistently delicious. Great dinner specials. Lovely staff. Cash only. Try the baked clams, oh the sauce! The menu clearly says to please be patient, their food is made to order, so don't be in a rush here. Relax, put your phone away, and enjoy a small family restaurant with delicious food. Dress is casual. They also do catering and food to go. I'm born and raised here, been coming for decades. A staple on 116th St. Adore!
Weâre lucky not to have angered the eccentric and foul-mouthed Whit over the years in five locations in Rockaway. His blue fish dip, smoked mussels, huge grilled steak, whole fish, unusual pizzas, burgers, and fresh vegetables are innovative, definitely a cut above. Itâs fine dining in a shack with NO bar scene (if you BYOB, pretend you didnât). The menu changes depending on the fish he caught and the local vegetable crop (organic from nearby Edgemere Farm). Take what he offers and love it. Go after 3:00 any day (weekends have earlier hours but serve only pizza without Whit). The ambience is friendly (unless you get on the wrong side of Whit) and informal, with efficient service. Come on the ferry from Pier 11 Wall Street, spend time on the beach and the boardwalk, then have a good meal at Whitâs End. And go back on the ferry at 108 Street or the A train at 98 Street. Itâs a perfect day.

Ask for John, pizza is good but he makes a great cappuccino. You may like some of the different types of pizza. They make a wide variety of different pizzas and there are good salads. I have never had any of the meals that are prepared, but the place is clean and the food is served quickly.
