One of our senior colleagues retired from service and our MD decided to throw a farewell dinner for all managers to mark the event. Serafina was chosen as the restaurant and what a great decision it was! Serafina is one truly authentic Italian restaurant that Riyadh can be proud of. Excellent dishes, great service, beautiful ambiance and a place that can offer a lot of memories. Special tip - For group photos, assemble on the stairs and you would love the lighted-up results!

The Butchers shop is located within a group of other eateries located between Exit 6 and 7 on the North Ring Road. When we visited there was plenty of parking to choose from, however it can get very busy indeed and you may have to park on the side streets. Don't park on the service road as the police will ticket you for illegal parking. We visited on a Thursday evening around 7:15pm just after prayer. It was quiet and we had no problems getting a table. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is quite light inside with a little bit of character. There were televisions in the restaurant showing the world cup. I am unsure whether these are a temporary or permanent fixture.The estada is definitely the dish to go for, though there are plenty of other dishes to choose from with the steaks looking particularly good. I went for the chicken and lamb estada, my colleague going for the chicken. There is a choice of side to go with each, I went for French fries, my colleague the garlic fried potatoes. For the chicken, we both went for the extra spicy sauce. It is about as spicy as a mild jalfezi. Not the most amazing drinks menu, there again we are in Riyadh so don't expect anything amazing. Staff were attentive in ensuring my diet pepsi was refilled. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive.The chicken is so succulent and tender. The lamb I found was not as tender, however still tasted good. We took advantage of a two for one offer which is running during the world cup. This makes it really good value for money. I would still visit if the offer wasn't on.Would I go again? Too right! I only found out about the place last week and went twice and am going again this week.

Went there on 27th April 2018 along with my family! The restaurant is extremely elegant yet casual at the same time. They have a great seating area with a good service to match.The dishes come out fast enough but they are still fresh and warm. The appetiser platter antipasti along with the bread basket were phenomenal and highly recommended. The pasta was good and tasty but not the greastest in terms of innovation or developement of flavour, I really wish they had something on the menu that stands out. Nevertheless, off course I would not mind going back.

We had a seven course meal with a poolside view. The food was outstanding. All the dishes we had were personally selected & delivered by Chef Sergio, we didnât even need to look at the menu. I recently visited Eataly in Riyadh and I had a great experience there, and will definitely return. The restaurant is located in one of the busiest streets in Riyadh, therefore it is hard to find a parking spot. However, once you do manage to get inside you are welcomed by a large grocery. Yes, grocery! This is one of the major factors of what differentiates Eataly from other restaurants like Piatto. Just past the grocery is the dining space. It is beautifully lit up, and the tables and chairs add to its very authentic atmosphere.The Price:A major downside for Eataly is the price. Due to it being a fine-dining restaurant the prices are very high. Some believe that it is just too high a price to pay for the quality of the food, but that's just their opinion.The location: It is located in one of the liveliest streets in Eastern Riyadh. It neighbors many famous restaurants like 5 Guys, Zaatar w Zeit, and Dip n dip. It also hosts its own plaza, Almas Plaza.The Facilities:Like I previously mentioned, Eataly isn't just a restaurant. It possesses its own grocery and hosts its own cooking lessons for the youth. Inside the grocery, you can find all types of ingredients ranging from all kinds of pasta to sauces to chocolates and it even has its own Nutella stand that is quite popular with the kids.In conclusion, Eataly is an all-rounder. Apart from its facilities the restaurant itself is charming and entertains customers with its own authentic atmosphere. It is a great location to go eat with friends and families but really hits the spot with kids. If you can avoid the thought of the price then going to Eataly is a must.
