Ordered food to go and took quite some time. A bit frustrating but that happens sometimes. Frustrating part was when I got home the order was quite different that what we ordered. Food missing. Food cooked different than ordered. Canât really tell if it was good or not as we all were frustrated with the poor service. As a bonus the food leaked all over the place as well.

I am very sorry to say that since our last visit nearly 4 years ago to this small storefront at the tracks in downtown Westwood has gone downhill. It really pains me to say this because I was rooting for success. When we made the reservation we were told that the only open time on the evening we wanted to come was 6 PM, but we would have to be out be 8 PM to accommodate the next reservation. The owner welcomed us and made a point of learning everyone's name in our 6-member party. Throughout the evening he spoke to us by name. The chef also came out to welcome us, as did the sous chef. One of the ladies in our party was upset from the beginning of the meal when the waiter accidentally poured ice water down her back while filling her glass. Instead of apologizing, he just assured her that it was "only water". She was not amused and was uncomfortable for the rest of the meal. The ladies in our party enjoyed everything they ordered, but us guys, including me, felt that everything we ate was only average.Among us we shared meatballs and spaghetti, mozzarella sticks, potato leek soup, a veal dish, and a couple of other dishes. We also shared some desserts which none of us really liked much. At 8:15 the owner told us we had to leave, which we did--he did not ask us by name--the charm offensive was over. This is one of the main reasons we prefer not to go out to dinner on weekend evenings--the service is better and the experience is more relaxing, in our opinion, on weeknights. The bill was $105 per couple, including tax and tip. Parking on the street can be difficult on weekend nights.

I was at Casa Del Sol last Friday night, I had the skirt steak with a crab hollandaise sauce, it was delicious. Their Mexican food is very good, I hope they consider expanding their menu to ceviche and molcajetes. Their watermelon margaritas are amazing! They also had a fabulous reggae band that I thoroughly enjoyed. Really fun night, great food, drinks and reggae band. Love to go here for a night out in Nyack!

Went here last night with our Son and his girlfriend and really enjoyed our meals. Must make reservations. Saturday night and place was packed and turning people away. Arancini and Clams Oreganata were very good. Chicken Sorrentino was delicious and I substituted potatoes a d vegetables for pasta Bolognese amazing. Others enjoyed Raviole Pertuso, Parpadeli and Pasta Mandara. BYOB is the best. Must try.

Street parking and nearby municipal parking is available. The establishment is of decent size with dated décor that appears not to have been dusted in some time. The tables are closely arranged therefore conversations can become a bit loud.Service was good and very polite. The owner was very engaged in every aspect of the operations. Perhaps they need a bit of time management restructuring. There were tables available and because the patrons didn't have reservations, they were turned away. We witnessed several large tables that were empty but because a party of five didn't have reservations they were turned away. These tables remained empty for several hours while we were waiting and had left. Our meals were good, not the best Italian I've ever had although I would return do its close proximity to our home. All in all it was acceptable Italian cuisine, DEFINETLY MAKE RESERVATIONS!

First, reservations a must. Go early on weekend, 5:00PM earliest. Crestive specials. Had an appetizer of Burrata cheese, chopped almonds and greens that was over the top. Took a conventional entree of veal parmigiana that was easily the best veal Iâve ever had. GO!Again, unless you want to spend sn hour or do at the bar waiting for a table...make a reservation. Reasonable, I think. Party of 4 with drinks, no dessert = $147.

The food and the servers are amazing. My friend came from India and I brought her here. The server was great explaining what things were. I had salmon and she had clams in the white sauce. Everything was delicious. The rice balls are heavenly.

This is a lovely restaurant featuring excellent Italian food and concerned service. They offer an excellent value for lunch with soup or salad included. Note that they are very popular and it can be crowded.
