DeliKaktus is great new Cafe that has only recently opened in Lorrach but deserves to be know for various reasons. - their statement is "mediterrean kitchen for all", which is exactly what they do - cook delicious healthy all VEGAN food from Israel, Italy and other countries. - it`s for ALL so it`s affordable and the prices are amazing, for a full lunch menu including a big portion, a side dish and a dessert you pay only 9 ⬠(big portion is 5â¬, small 4⬠and cakes 2.5â¬) - there is also coffee specialities and smoothies and other drinks available. - the owners are extremely friendly and love to talk about their passion, their recipes, their countries! - i will definitely going back very soon to try more of their delicious sweets and lunch options that change daily!

Switzerland is an expensive country for visitors like me, this is no secret. We have visited Basel and the region, and enjoyed what Switzerland, France, Germany (and partly Austria) have to offer (a lot). One of the highlights of my visit was the fantastic Beyeler Foundation in Riehen. After enjoying this outstanding museum, hunger striked, and we searched for a close by food place, wanting to match the recent visual experience fromBeyeler, with a gastronomical one. The restaurant is located a few minutes walk from the museum. The restaurant was not too crowded, had a pleasant atmosphere serving families and couples like us, the service was immediate and attentive, the kitchen is in front of you and the chef seems a happy guy. A promising start. Prices are reasonable, but we were on a budget (Switzerland...), so we decided to split 1 pizza for 2. we got a fantastic tastefull large pizza, on a spacious plate, nicely cut so we did not feel the absence of the half portion, and the taste...hmmmm.Highly recommended if you are visiting near by.So I was left with no choice but to recommend this place and shaare with you.enjoy :)Eli

This restaurant serves authentic Italian pizza that is cooked out of the oven. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is good. I ordered a spicy calabressa pizza with mushrooms and olives. The only compliant that I had is that the pizza could have been cooked a little longer in the oven. But overall the pizza was fine. The staff was very friendly and they spoke Italian.

First of all, the food deserves a 3 star rating. However, the reason for me giving it a 1 star is that when I came to pay by card at the bar. The guy who had served me all night gave me the receipt but not my bank card. When I asked for it he tried to say he had given it to me. I had to insist that he hadn't, he then grudgingly gave it back to me and wasn't happy that I had caught him out. Therefore I would avoid paying by bank card as I believe he wanted the card to commit credit card fraud.Hello first of all, this review of what they have given is unfortunately not true what our staff would never do or they have us with another restaurant confused I'm there as a manager every day and in such a situation I can not remember Sry.

La Serenissima was a great experience. Very homely and elegant without being pretencious at the same time. Nice greeting and talk with the owner in the beginning, lovely menu. The quality of food is great. I had the variety mussels and my friends had calamari - all excellent. Fegato wonderful, bistecca super (prepared on hot stone), veggies stunning. The selection of wines VERY pleasing. I know already where I want to go out for my birthday. Complimenti, Signore Stefano and the chef. Lovely, clean cooking, great food. Thank you!

Since my last visit to Pompeii the restaurant has had a face lift and a new menu, and the results are superb. The smaller menu focusses on pizza and pasta with fresh ingredients and has a daily 2 course menu for a very reasonable price. Today it was salmon mousse for starter and pasta with octopus for main, both were absolutely delicious and well presented. The pizzas have always been good at Pompeii but they have improved even further, and are perfectly cooked. staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive, all this adds up to a great dining experience.

Enthusiastic Italian staff! Hard to turn around because they are so excited and already ordering your sandwich before you can say anything. Not English speaking but know a bit. Few sandwich options which are good but not crazy. Family own, made by mama. Fun staff!

Decided to try the burger. Quite substantial. And conveniently they supply black plastic gloves so you can eat without getting into a total mess. 18 euro is on the pricey side for a burger. Service was a bit slow and inattentive. Bread came some minutes after the mains. About 20 mins walk from the last stop at the end of tram 8 from Basel.

Fantastic food, great choice and an excellent service. My family had lunch here and while waiting fro everyone to arrive, the waiter made ome excellent suggestions for starters. The biggest problem was to actually make a choice as there were many things on the menu I would like to try out. In other words a good reason to come again.
