Been looking for a THIN crust pizza in coastal GA fro awhile. I found it here. Been there in the past and no really impressed but never ordered the Brooklyn . It is as good as up north and amazing sauce with fresh mozzarella and I double up the pepperoni. been other places in Savannah but this is my go to place. lots of takeout orders but if you get a chance to sit down..... maybe Squggles Magee will be youre wait staff. she is a trip and hard to goof up. She can handle aa bunch of folks looking for food and wine.AND BEER

Me and my son stopped at small pizzeria in Richmond Hill, Ga. today and was blown away. The pizza was excellent & the bread sticks were amazing. The wait staff was friendly and the place had a home town feel about it. I will definitely be stopping back by PAPA'S PIZZA TO GO the next time I'm in town.

We were expecting much worse. Most Italian places in Savannah arenât very good. The menu is basic, nothing special. But the food is good. Meat sauce is very good. The biggest problems have with the chain joints is the sauce is so bland. Not here. They even do take out so you can call ahead on the way home. I just wish they had pizza to try.

so, the kind people at El Toro welcomed him at one of their two outdoor tables with a bowl of water. This set the tone for a wonderful late lunch as we traveled. We are vegetarian, and although the menu is clearly friendly to meat eaters (specials include BBQ spare ribs-Costillas a la BBQ, Pork w/ eggplant - Cerdo c/ Verenjena, Stewed Oxtail - Rabo Guisado), a tasty vegetarian meal of rice with veggies (arroz con Vegetales Mixtos), and two salads ( a potato salad with beets - delicioso! and an equally delicious tomato/cuke/onion/ avocado salad) appeared effortlessly before us. Add in wickedly good flan and Tres Leches cake offerings for dessert, and you have every reason to detour off I-95 at exit 94 to try this charming restaurant. Don't be fooled by the few stores left in this older mall. When done, step next door to the bookstore, which sells at least 1/2 price books and donates the proceeds to cancer research. Still in search of dietary ethnic variety? Stroll across to Krishna Grocery, where you will find a wonderful assortment of Indian foods (and, personnel who can tell you how to pronounce them correctly!). Exit 94, off I-95 in Savannah, GA is one of our regular rest stops, and we are so pleased to welcome El Toro Italian and Spanish Cuisine!

I was a bit disappointed in the pizza. I prefer a thick crust but honestly like a pizza any way at all. I found our pizza to be sadly lacking on content. We paid $17 for a 16 inch pizza and there was hardly anything on it. We paid for a half & half and I had to search to find the toppings. Very disappointing! I wonât return.
