It is about a one-hour drive from Cologne, just south of Bonn, the former West German capital. It is situated on the left (western) bank of the river Rhine. We visited this restaurant with friends on a friday night. Our German friends had reserved and I advise you to do this. The service was very good as soon as you walk in you are greated and taken to your table. we where given time to select from the menu and a drinks order was taken quickly. I had steak which was cooked to perfection with a large salad which was well persented and fresh. The steak melted in my mouth. The table was cleared promptly and we where asked frequently if we wanted drinks. well worth a visit if you are in the area. plenty of parking on the street available. the table is yours for the night.

I and my significant other are regulars here and have been for many years. It is a small place so you feel like you are sitting in a private dining room. There is always a large selection of daily specials listed on a big chalk board as you come in. I usually go for fish because it is always fresh and well prepared. My partner is vegetarian and goes for the large selection of pastas. Both of us would go just for the basket of house made rolls and garlic butter! I highly recommend reservations as there are only 12 tables and this place is popular with the locals.

I'm from Australia travelling some months within Europe. Some days ago I was at river Rhine and we found Casa Siciliana close to the river. We ordered some pasta and pizza, sitting on a nice terrace. The pizza made in a woodfired oven was amazing! All other food was really good as well. When I'll be back in your area I will choose the Casa Siciliana again. Thx.

This is NOT the original "Franco", who has sold ristorante and name to Non-Italians from Eastern Europe. Nevertheless they serve Italian dishes that are very good and excellent in many cases. The restarant is popular with folks from Linz, often a little crowded and noisy, but that's part of "Italian" atmosphere. If you're looking for Franco's place, it's "La Bruscetta" in Bad Honnef.

Great bistro at reasonable prices. Warm and inviting. We go frequently and enjoy it every time. The pizzas are especially authentic. Salvatore, the owner, is a top man. Basically fautless. Only trouble that driverz can pass by it easily; that's is a mistake!

Our family enjoyed a quiet weekend lunch at Da Franco restaurant during a day trip to Remagen. The staff were welcoming and spoke Italian, German and English. The menu had a wide selection of Italian dishes including a number of pasta and pizza choices. The drink menu includes alcohol and non-alcohol. Decor was in keeping with the usual Italian themed restaurant. The view, however, was spectacular. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace just a short distance from the Rhine.

We called at lunchtime for cannelloni, pizza and a couple of glasses of wine. Espresso coffee afterwards. Our meal was served in good time and was of good quality. The restaurant was clean and pleasant and it's somewhere we would visit again if ever in Remagen.
