We were looking forward to a good Italian meal at Andiamo's, which is a busy, popular place. I only wanted a caesar salad for dinner, so I decided to order escargot for a starter. Big mistake. It came smothered in bubbling cheese; nothing like any escargot I've ever eaten. The caesar salad was unremarkable, no anchovies of course, and had a strange dressing on it. To top it off, the meal didn't agree with my digestive system. My husband ordered lasagna, which was huge and too hot to eat for quite a while. Sorry we wasted our time at Andiamo's.

I have been eating lunch here occasionally since 2000 and it's a typical down-to-earth Canadian small-town restaurant as you can find in every one of Canada's many thousands of small towns. I had the lunch special which was egg salad sandwich and chicken soup. The chicken soup was superb, lots of large chunks of breast-meat chicken in it, and fresh vegetables galore. The egg salad was fresh, plentiful, and tasty in wholesome multi-grain vegetable-bread baked on the premises. Cost was $12.50. Service was fast, friendly, and the place was not crowded but, as usual, was about half-full. Nice one Lovin Oven.

Wonderful little place for coffee or lunch. Delicious homemade soup, Italian meat and cheese ( made right onsite) flatbreads and salads. Also have a good selection of Italian grocery products for sale. The fabulous coffee here is the reason I keep going back.Friendly family run place, a great addition to Salmon Arm.
