Reviews on Italian food in Puerto Iguazu, Province of Misiones, Argentina. Perched at the Triple Frontier, where Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet, Puerto Iguazu is linked to Brazil by the Tancredo Neves bridge. It is home to the Museum of Images of the Jungle, the Mborore Museum, a bird rehabilitation center and the famed Iguazu National Park. The National Park is home to 275 waterfalls, including the world-renowned Iguazu Falls, which plunges 270 feet. A subtropical climate means it's warm in winter and hot in summer, with temperatures soaring up to 104°F.

At the end of a full and very enjoyable day out hotel recommended Croccante Pizza for our evening meal. We were delighted by the friendly staff and the three types of pizza we ordered as a group was amazingly delicious at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend this restaurant!!

My partner and I went to this place two nights in a row. They made us the best frozen strawberry daiquiris we've ever had and ate really tasty empanadas and pizza. The service was top notch so I'm giving them 5 stars. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice pub meal. Prices are also very reasonable.

We propose to enjoy a magical moment, from a warm welcome, passing through a relaxed and cordial atmosphere, where you will be able to experience a great variety of gastronomic options, of the Regional, International and unique Doña MarÃa cuisine.
The service here was friendly helpful and the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. We had the special and a pasta along with a nice bottle of very quaffable Malbec. There was no issue with payment by credit card and it was a pleasant night out at a restaurant that I would be happy to return to.Dear 163warrensFrom Doña Maria Restaurant we kindly thank you for your comments on your stay with us.We are pleased to know that we met your expectations. Ordered the filet mignon didnât care for the steak fries it came with but the steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. A generous portion as well. Had shrimp for an appetizer and they were good. Bigger sizes deep fried shrimp. The passion fruit sauce was delicious. Others orders a chicken Caesar salad and à milanesa steak although it has a different name for it here. Everything was good except those steak fries. We ordered some regular fries and those were good. They serve Pepsi products here along with wines. They take credit cards, dollars, AR pesos, Reis, and Paraguay Guarani. The bill had the total figured for each. Service was excellent. Waiter spoke English, português and Spanish. We were hungry but a bit worried it was a tourist trap but we were pleasantly surprised that it was flat out delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for cocktails and stayed for dinner. Menu has English translation, so that proved useful. We sat outside under a canopy to make the most of the evening air, and thankfully no one smoked, which is sometimes a problem which forces non- smokers inside. Attentive staff, well presented meals, with steaks cooked to perfection. Extensive wine menu. Presentation of the bill was accompanied with a complimentary glass of champagne - nice touch.Very enjoyable evening - good choice! Thank you so much for your kindly comment. We are happy to know that our staff exceded your expectations and also our food.

The restaurant is located a bit off the main stretch where the other restaurants are but donât let that deter you. I had one of their specialities, spaghetti parmesano, and would totally recommend it, not just for the taste but also the flair and showmanship when it is served. Combine a giant parmigiano wheel, fire, cognac and pasta at the table-side and voilà ! Dinner is served. Taste was great, and portion was a good size, and the spaghetti was perfectly done al dente. The service we had from the team was also top-notch - they were on the ball and observant. Prices were reasonable for the quality that you get here. Would go back again if I had more time in Puerto Iguazu!

More expensive than in the rest of Argentina but well... Its puerto iguazu!.. However quality and quantity are there. I had cannelloni jamon queso with 4queso sauce, the best pasta i ever had in my life, for something like 6/7euros. You can eat in or take away.

The Chef Matteo Lagostena After years of studying, researching and hard work: he finally could define himself and decided to have a Autor kitchen. Join us in this great adventure through the flavors!
We were recommended this restaurant by other tourists we had met at the Falls. It was well worth taking a taxi from our lodge to eat there. Its a really sophisticated restaurant with professional service. All the food was delicious, and the wine list was excellent too.Definitely THE PLACE to eat at in Iguassu. Highly recommended!

The quirky owner was kind and friendly but the food was only fair with the portions the smallest of any restaurant we have visited during our 3 months of travel in Argentina. The prices were very high for Argentina and more on par with what you would expect to pay in Rome. While we were there the owner asked everyone for "the important 5 star review on TripAdvisor" Place was a disappointment.

Myself and three colleagues visited Bel Viale on two occasions during our stay in Foz do Iguaçu - both times the food was excellent, but it was the staff who really made our day! The restaurant is not located in a touristic area, so we were not surprised to find that they didn't speak much English, nevertheless they had a wonderful sense of humour and our efforts to communicate some specific dietary requirements in 'Spanglishese' was great fun (it's difficult to be a lactose-intolerant vegetarian in Brazil, but we managed it!). Highly recommended.
