This restaurant is a little secret on the hills near Bergamo, a secret that is a pleasure to discover. The two dining rooms have huge windows on the wonderful landscape of the area and that's already one reason to pay a visit. The restaurant has a really great staff that treats you like a king and the dining is definitely top quality. To add some more to this quality all of the ingredients are local and authentic local cuisine brought to the highest of standards. I had the tasting menu that was composed of 2 entrees, 1 course of pasta, 1 course of vegetables, 1 course of meat, 1 pre-dessert (amazing) and a choice of desserts. Everything was served with great presentation and you could really tell how much research went into each course. The prices are high but the quality is very high so it truly deserves a visit.Recommended!

Traditional restaurant, like in the good old times.
We booked dinner here based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not left disappointed. The staff were excellent and explained all the specials to us in English. We had a specials meat starter along with polenta with porcini mushrooms. Mains were the most incredible pumpkin gnocchi and Ragu tagliatelle. For dessert we had an Italian version of a creme brûlée and gelato with chocolate and chestnuts. We had the most enjoyable meal and experienced a real taste of italy!

The concept of "Lombard tradition and creative genius" is the leitmotiv of Da Vittorio's menus, which are regularly updated and altered to keep up with changes in the market and in the seasons. The care, attention and exploration of culinary themes is kep
Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we left with a feeling of disappointment. The meal and service started at the expected high level but as the restaurant continued to fill, the service level dropped. Maybe we were unlucky and even the best restaurant can have a bad day but the truth is that having acquired 3 stars does oblige an establishment to maintain the level.

This is a tiny hidden place and you feel like you are eating with family. The products are all fresh and home made, the food is very simple but everything is delicious. I loved the pickled veggies (which I usually don't like), the fried asparagus, the great home made pasta and the rabbit (looked strange but was fantastic! Something like rabbit spare-ribs..). The place is tiny so make your reservation in advance! The place is hard to find - follow google and the sings... Chiuduno is definitely a place worth to be visited uniquely for this restaurant . Halfway between Brescia and Bergamo this anonimous small town is home for a restaurant that will help you to be transformed in the old style of service and some of the most innovative cooking methods visible in Italy . The restaurant has very few tables, each one kept at a distance that will enable you and your guest not to disturb or being disturbed by other guests . Elegantly dressed with touch of uncommon elegance in details , the dining room opens to the kitchen where you will see the chefs preparing the food using molecular techniques . There are also two screens showing the same in the room and this is one of the few things that I did not like too much as , screens as Tv may be altering people's attention . There are three or four menu options half way mixing tradition ( here tradition is anyhow treated in a more updated methodology) and creations mixing art, design , structures and volumes that will take you into the third millenium food concept. Preparation , presentation , the quality of raw materials all is meant to achieve the best . You might have the tuna burger served as in afast food, the spherical melon and ham bites, a campari sugar glass closed composition of shrimps, burrata, anchovies etc to die for .Amazing pasta , out of this world breads selection and a service lead by Carlo Pierato that will be hard to be matched in terms of attention, customer's minded approach and availabilty. Good and serious wine selection served at perfect temperature and in gorgeuous cristal glasses. If this place would be in a big town it will be a success, it is in Chiuduno , you need to drive and find it , but believe me it will be worth any cent you will spend there, It s not cheap but you won't regret . Kudos to all people working there as they really are dreaming and make customers dreaming.

The rediscovery and love for tradition â and especially for the territory of the Orobie Prealps â also passes through good cooking. The Orobie Alps Resort, in addition to its extraordinary location in the greenery and its charming spaces, makes of the res
Dinner is very tasty, you can order different pasta meals with home-made pasta. We had dinner at the hotel several times and ate pasta with different cheeses, porcinos, different meat like deer and beef, polenta (which is a speciality of the region, there are different types). They also serve big platters (which looked nice, we saw it from other guests, but did not get the chance to taste it, also they serve "branzi" which is a local cheese (and also the name of a village nearby). There is also a salad buffet every evening.Dear Guest,First of all I would like to thank you for having chosen "Al Vecchio Larice" restaurant and for posting your SUPER feedback!I am really happy to read that you appreciated so much all our service and our regional cusine! Writing this review in English so to promote Val Brembana beyond our borders.Spent 4 hours having a great lunch on a sunny day. Many delicious starters, two mains, dessert, coffee and spirits at the end.â¬35 is a honest price for such a big lunch.A different approach to the valley's traditions, with an abundant fixed menu.Would recommend it to anyone visiting the surrounding areas (Bergamo and Milan).Just an advice: see if you can get some choice for the wineFabio

Porta Osio takes the name from a door in the old wall surrounding the city and conserve some walls embedded in the building. Forty seats to be cuddled in tranquillity. The restaurant has been standing out for the first -class choice of cold cuts and chees
Was invited by a business contact. But had to pay the bill. It was supposed to be a business lunch. The food was exquisite, the wine superb, the ambience beautiful, but the portions!!!!!! my god Lilliputian! 5 pieces of pasta as a starter and 2 mouthful as a main course. The apple strudel was a thin slice. The wine was superb as worth the price but as soon as I got home I had to eat as I was hungry. Thank you but not for me.

I have difficulty understanding the positive reviews on Tripadvisor for this establishment. The location was very good, but my experience was not good at all.The staff were unfriendly and not helpful. Maybe because we are in the middle of tourist season? But there is never a good reason for bad service. They also did not give us correct change, so we had to go back to correct this, which they did.First of all we are not people who want to give a bad service to tourists because most of our customers are tourists. We have been doing this work for many years and I don't think it is correct to write a review where there is no useful but free criticism.
